Eugene Kim's Online Review Report Card

The good part: After doing my research, I felt that Dr. Eugene Kim was the best surgeon to go to for a breast augmentation. He was very transparent from the beginning. He let me know what works best for me and my body. I was able to do a virtual consultation prior to booking the appointment and he was very thorough in all the questions I asked. Once it came down to the day of the procedure, his OR team were amazing. One of the nurses was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable the entire time as well as the anesthesiologist. His entire operating team were very nice and made the procedure run smoothly. The bad: His front desk receptionist girls suck. All of them look stuck up and have snooty attitudes. Not sure if they all have RBF or it's just the botox. It sucks especially since you have to see the Dr. For post-op appts and have to talk to them. They make it seem like making follow-up appointments are an inconvenience for them. Front desk receptionists are the face of the company. I'm not sure people who are spending $$$$ money on procedures want to see these girls at the front act like b******. Sorry but they either need to smile more or <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FDr.kim&amp;s=a50029f1fd3b4a988c919bb449e0f0a91c7f395f10085073fe021b336448850b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Dr.kim</a> needs to hire new FRIENDLIER girls. I even overheard in the waiting area one girl say "what's the point of vaccines anyway". You can have an opinion ofc, but don't talk out loud to a point where clients can hear your conversation. It's unprofessional. Can't blame them though, they're just front desk girls and don't know much about the medical field.

Hi ladies! I know going under the knife is scary, but please consider my experience with Dr Kim if you are considering breast augmentation and /or lift.I will highlight why Dr Eugene Kim should be your top pick if you are considering plastic surgery.Firstly, I had saggy uneven breasts (one was a B cup the other a small C cup) and I needed a lift + implants.After consulting with Dr E. Kim, he was my first and only choice. After calling other offices before his, I felt a disconnect with the other office staff for different surgeons and plus their arrogance. I know there are many fake reviews of the so-called "world famous" Instagram flaunting surgeons who many of them in fact butcher their clients. Dont let Instagram fool you into the wrong direction with the wrong surgeons. Look for real and authentic reviews + surgeons history and work.Anyways, Ive had two surgeries with Dr Kim this year.First one- April 2021- was a lift and BA with 265 CCs. Dr Kim was honest with me and informed me that he couldnt go bigger due to me not having enough breast tissue. After 6 months of healing, I decided to have another surgery to have more CCs. Dr Kim informed me that I have had stretched out breast tissue that would hold more larger implants.So October 20,2021 was my second surgery with 400 ccs. I am a week post op and LOVE my results!!!After 2 surgeries and many post op appointments with Dr E. Kim, here is what I can conclude.--Dr Kim has AMAZING bedside manners. Very professional and informative, caring and thorough. I work in psychology, and can say that I would have needed to feel safe in someone's care in order to have major surgery like this. Mentally and emotionally, I felt ready and comfortable.--Dr Kim is ALWAYS on time for your appointments. If you are doing a consult or post/pre-op, he will always meet with you exactly on time!! He cares about you and your time and I truly appreciate him being this considerate. Ive had horrendous experiences with wait times in other offices.--HONESTY!! Dr Kim isnt someone who will sell you other procedures like the rest of the morons in Beverly Hills/Orange County. He is honest and considerate of your needs. A real doctor doesnt have to sell you procedures for the sake of money.--Office staff in his office are all very kind and helpful, no arrogance like typical front desk in such offices. his work speaks for itself. Look at his before/afters. He has an amazing team for surgery. Anesthesiologist is professional and cool, nurses are very friendly and helpful. You feel so safe and at peace in the operating room. --Recovery!!! So both of my recoveries were a breeze!! I had ZERO pain or discomfort (only nausea during first day of post op due to anasthesia (which was expected since I am so small, low body weight). I was able to drive and go to work the next day. I currently am a week post op and dont feel heavy or tightness in my chest at all. I know my experience was unique in the case i needed 2 surgeries, but I wouldnt have gone with another doctor who would have stuffed me with larger implants in the 1st surgery and me being in discomfort and pain. Rude and dismissive. Falsely advertises procedures he then refuses to perform.

Based on his reviews, I was eager to consult with Dr. Kim about getting a much needed neck lift. I did a lot of research and called his office today to book a consultation. The woman who answered the phone took all my very personal information and then as soon as I told her what procedure I wanted, she abruptly told me to hold and then hung up the phone. I expected a call back, but didn't get one. I then decided to do the virtual consultation via-email in the meantime. I almost immediately got a reply back from Dr. Kim telling me he doesn't really do neck lifts and "I can't help you." It was a very short, rude, dismissive response I did not expect. First off, he advertises everywhere that he does the procedure. There's in-depth information on his website and before and after pictures as well. If you don't want to do the procedure, then why advertise it? And why not explain your reasoning to the prospective client? Being short and vague made me feel like garbage, like I somehow did something wrong. I responded back to him and let him know how I felt. He then finally offered a late apology and said he hasn't done the procedure in 2 years and that he ASSUMED I'd want to go to someone more experienced. Funny thing to assume something without even speaking to me about it at all. He also offered to give me a quote, which I declined. He wasted enough of my time. I could only imagine had I paid the $200 non-refundable consultation fee only to be told he didn't do the procedure... that would have been a sight to behold. He advertises on Instagram that he's the highest rated plastic surgeon on Yelp... well, continue to treat prospective clients like this, and that will change in no time. Of all the plastic surgeons in L.A., you shouldn't want to pay money to someone who doesn't even try to treat you with care or compassion. I really dodged a bullet here. Avoid this place.

I went to Dr. Eugene Kim basically because he was the best reviewed surgeon on yelp. Doesn't matter to me that he was pretty far, I was looking for the best and he really is. I had breast augmentation surgery in 2018 and three years later I can honestly say his work is pristine. The staff was very helpful in explaining how everything would go and took the time to explain the medication and what was expected of me the day before surgery and the day of. I felt very prepared when I went in for my procedure. I felt comfortable during the consultation because I expressed that I wanted a natural look and Dr. Kim helped me with the process of selecting the best size for me so that I wouldn't regret going too small or feeling that I had gone too big. Three years now with a perfectly healed procedure, I can honestly say the consults were worth the effort because I am very satisfied with the outcome. His office was always available to follow up and answer questions after the procedure. I cannot for the life of me find the scars he used for the surgery. If you want perfection, go to Dr. Kim.

I can't recommend Dr. Kim and his staff enough. I'm at home recovering from liposuction of abdomen and flanks and everything went really well! The nurses there are incredibly kind and knowledgeable and Dr. Kim is just so chill and approachable. My pain has only gotten as high as 3 out of 10 and I honestly expected much worse. I'm all bound up so I haven't seen my results yet, but I feel great! Cheers!

I had a bbl with him, it was not good . I had another doctor  fix it. He is nice but not good as a surgeon.

Genuinely changed my life and has me feeling so confident in myself. My biggest fear was my nose looking like a pig nose but dr. Kim's steady hands made my nose look natural and exactly what I pictured. Him and his super nice staff made my visit so comfortable and easier than I thought since this was my first surgery ever. 10/10 doctor and experience!!

Dr Eugene is a very professional good doctor, he knows what do you want and he will make exactly the way you want :) my boobs were not even, after the surgery they look same now. I was worried so much after surgery, but everything is fine, just temporarily pain, uncomfortable. I'm highly recommend Dr Eugene to be your surgeon doctor

Dr. Kim is the best doctor! I am extremely happy with my breast augmentation results. For many years I wanted breast implants, but was afraid to go through with the process because I never had surgery done before. I initially emailed with my inquiries and he was quick in responding and answered all my questions. I went in for an in person consultation because I wasn't comfortable with an virtual consultation. It was $200 for the consult and if I decided to proceed with surgery it would be applied towards the surgery. Dr. Kim was a delight to meet and I decided he was the doctor to go with out of all the other doctors I met and talked to. He was very professional, he took the time to listen and made recommendations and answered all my questions and concerns. Having a ton of pictures to show was very helpful in deciding the look I was trying to achieve. I was very scared of going too big...but this doctor knows what he is doing. Trust him!!! I am extremely happy with the results! My only regret was not going to him sooner!
