Jessica Chan's Online Review Report Card

Dr Chan !!! What an incredible human being. I came in her office but was being treated with another physician. My doctor had missed a few appts with me so I started to see Dr Chan and requested to see her moving forward. Her care towards me and my needs, her bed manners, her recommendations and just her whole being is just so positive and upbeat. She had transferred with my first, and it was successful, that’s why I call her my lucky charm. Dr Chan did my retrieval and transfer and because of her I am now pregnant with my second. She is HIGHLY recommended !!!! I could not be happier with her. Dr Chan, if you are reading this… I LOVE you and Appreciate all that you do for your patients.

I can not speak highly enough of her. I have suffered from PCOS for over 6 years and we had trouble TTC on our own for over a year. We started visiting Dr Chan. While I wish I could have kept seeing her, our insurance changed and she does not accept our new insurance (not her fault!). While we didnt get pregnant during our time with her, she got my cycle back after 5 years of not having one! We drove, almost every week for over 3 months, from Orange County to her. It was beyond worth it. While I have yet to find a Dr near me, who I appreciate like Dr Chan, I so wish we could still see her. She was hands down the best Dr Ive ever seen for my PCOS and TTC journey!

My second visit at Keefer Walk-in Clinic was with Dr. Jessica Chan. Prior to my appointment, I had overheard another patient asking who the doctor was on the day I was there and was advised it was Dr. Chan. The patient then cancelled her appointment. When I was called into Dr. Chan’s office, Dr. Chan was crude, rude, insensitive, and inconsiderate. It was likely one of the worst doctor’s visits I have ever had. She criticized her colleague’s diagnosis at my first visit and ripped my wound causing more pain and injury.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Chan for over a year. She is a very caring, passionate, knowledgeable and friendly doctor. For those of you who said she was “rude,” I’m definitely sure it’s not Dr. Jessica W. K. Chan. She always listens to you tentatively and always tries her best to find resolutions to your problems for you. She definitely doesn’t rush you. In fact, she even stays late to listen to all your concerns. She’s also awesome in following up. In addition, her staff is also amazing. My voicemail or emails were always returned in a timely manner. Thank you Dr. Chan for the amazing care!

After being on this fertility/infertility roller coaster for 3 years, Dr. Chan was the first doctor that finally gave us some hope! Her compassionate, caring, and light hearted bed side manner has made this difficult process much more bearable. Her knowledge and demonstrated expertise has put us at ease and we know we are in very capable hands. We can't wait to continue this journey with her and we are very hopefully we'll have our own bundle of love very soon!

I have been a patient of Dr Chan's for a year - she has just moved to this new clinic a year ago. No idea what the above reviews were talking about - every single doctor at this new clinic is always punctual to within 5 minutes, and top notch. People who claim that they have had to wait are not seeing the same Dr. Jessica Chan I have seen (downtown Vancouver) - perhaps there is more than one with the same name. Dr Chan is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable, and has gone above and beyond expectations. Her staff is sometimes a little rigid but overall VERY GLAD to have gained a wonderful family doctor! Thank you!

Dr. Chan was rude and judgmental from the beginning. This was my second visit to follow up on my condition. I provided the same explanation to her as to the previous doctor. However, she first got confused as to the relevant dates and then the location of my injury. She then saidI have no injury and to “let nature do its thing”.

Knowledgeable but constantly behind schedule. Appointments are always an hour or more wait than scheduled time. Half an hour wait is no longer the case.

Dr Chan has been my family dr for 10+ years, very knowledgeable very compassionate and very helpful, highly recommend her!

Dr. Chan has been my family doctor for several years now. Each time there was at least an hour of waiting even with an appointment. She always came into the office late. I was lucky that there was one time that I was able to see her after waiting for only 30 minutes. On my recent visit, after waiting in the reception area for 20 mins, Dr. Chan came into the office. After another 10 mins, I was brought inside waiting in a room. While waiting in there. I could hear Dr. Chan on her cell phone outside in the hallway on a personal phone call (about her dinner the previous night and the criticisms she received that night). That took another 10 mins. There was only one/one time when I arrived at the clinic that she was already in there, but I still had to wait for 30 minutes before I could see her. On all my other visits, she was always, always late coming into the office. Based on my experience with her thus far, if she would just keep to information relevant to the patient and refrain from sharing about herself, her knowledge or anything not relevant to the patient, she should be able to keep each appointment to 15 mins. Do patients care to hear about her opinions on her reception staff? On the other hand, Dr. Chan is quite thorough with her examination and has excellent, up-to-date knowledge.
