I took my 85 year old mother in to see Dr Eilber for urinary incontinence. Dr. Eilber was harsh, impatient, and completely lacking in compassion. She wanted my mom to submit to a torturous bladder test that would involve blowing her bladder with water. The purpose of this test was to see if she would be a good candidate for a major surgery. My mom, who thought she was going for advice on what medicines were available, and not tortured for the purpose of a later surgery, was confused and anxious. Dr Eilber treated her like an annoying child who was wasting her time. My mom has not stopped talking about her horrible experience, and she has asked me to post a review so that maybe she can spare others from the terrible, unprofessional, unkind, miserable doctor. You have been warned.
Horrible bedside manner and doesn't listen to the patient.
Short. Curt. And just not good at what she “claims” to do. Buy her lubricant because she thinks she’s an “expert”
Came highly recommended. Lived up to formidable expectations. Brilliant surgical tactician. Stellar bedside manner. Kind, warmhearted & gentle. Handled my litany of questions spending time addressing each & every concern. Office staff competent & efficient. Five star rating. Look no further.

I was referred to Dr. Eilber by my Ob/Gyn. I had a series of bladder/UTI infections that would not respond to antibiotics. She diagnosed the problem during my first appointment. I found her to be a staunch profession but easy to communicate with. I felt reassured and confident when she gave me the diagnosis (clearly explaining her medical findings). She performed surgery and resolved the problem. She's an awesome doctor.
Dr. Karyn Eilber is one of the finest doctors in the United States. Not only is she a skilled surgeon who stays current on materials and practices but her bedside manner is amazing, which is a little unusual for a surgeon. In 2007 she performed pelvic reconstruction surgery on me and there have been no complications whatsoever over these past 13 years. And, in 2008 she performed a bladder sling operation on me and again, a total success
I had the best experience with Dr. Eilber and her nurse practitioner, Jessica Webb, is amazing and I no longer suffer from IC symptoms. She gave me “my life” back
Dr. Eilber refused to listen to serious complaints of constant pain due to a mesh implant she performed. She defended her procedure to my detriment - blamed my very real problems on stress, overwork, anything and everything. I've since had the mesh removed, which she warned against despite years of problems. Not a good listener. She did not have my best interest at heart
Saw her with a history of IC - she said there is nothing wrong with my bladder and referred me to pain management. Struggled for years to find an answer to the pain. Another doctor referred me to a partner in Eilber's practice who immediately diagnosed me with IC. How could she have missed it? It is her speciality. Guess on a Friday she had better things to do than carefully evaluate a patient who had waited months for an appointment to see her. I hear from others that she is great. If it were possible, I would sue her for the tens thousands I spent searching for answers.
I was referred to Dr. Eilber by a nurse girlfriend who'd had the urethral sling procedure done by Dr. Eilber. I'd already seen two doctors that I knew I wouldn't let touch me with a 10 foot pole. When I met Dr. Eilber, I immediately knew I was in excellent hands and my surgery experience was great with no complications or problems whatsoever. She explains things thoroughly, is super friendly and I would highly recommend her. Her staff is great and she followed up with me everyday for one week.
Dr. Eilber was recommended by our family physician and this physician went over and beyond my expectations. She took time to explain my procedure, what lead to the problem and important pre-op and post-op recommendations. Her staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Eilber and trust her to provide the best medical care with wisdom and compassion!! Extremely satisfied patient!!!
she is really knowledgeable and kind. I always fell safe before and after the surgery.
Dr. Eilber was recommended to me by another doctor of urology. He suggested her to me because she specializes in female urology issues. I had my 7 day post surgery checkup today and am so happy that when I sneeze, cough, or walk, I do not leak. I still have to be careful for a month, but I am not in any pain and walk and do light exercises. I am from a family of 5 siblings and out of 4 female siblings, 3 sisters have had to do this surgery. So this was a godsend to me.
Misdiagnosed.
Told me there was nothing wrong with me and referred me to a pain management clinic 4 years later a colleague and hers in the same group/office disgnosed me with the condition I came to Eilber to discuss. Four years of excruciating pain and 60k later. I’m furious!
My experience with Dr. Eilber has been rewarding to my health and confidence in her ability to make wise decisions in my treatment of kidney stones. I have the utmost confidence in her medical knowledge and surgical skills. I was recently prepared to travel to seek her care after moving 3000 miles away but my confidence in her is unrivaled.
Terrible. Completed unnecessary surgery that was unsuccessful, resulting in my need to go to another surgeon for proper care. Staff should have done more to help me post op and fix problems early on resulting from initial surgery.
One of the best Doctors I ever experienced, she smart , lovely and does her best
Pretty arrogant, keeping distance from patients When she's talking to them Also her office staff and nurses are unfreindly
