List of Lancer Dermatology's Reviews
Hi. So I am not a patient but I had a personal encounter with Dr. Lancer. I got injured at the gym (level 3 sprain) and I wasn't doing too well. I was feeling very lightheaded and my vision kept coming in and out. Dr. Lancer came out of his way, as a bystander, and had me lay down (so I don't hit my head in case I faint) and helped elevate my leg. I am so grateful for him!
I recently visited Dr. Harold Lancer in Beverly Hills, and the results were absolutely incredible! He treated some stubborn broken capillaries (those red, uneven patches) with a precise laser—the spots were completely gone and smooth in under two weeks. I couldn’t believe how flawless the skin looked! They also did my first tattoo removal session, and the fading was shockingly noticeable right away—way better than I expected. Dr. Lancer is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease. No rush, just genuine expertise and care. I’m already excited for my next facial treatments—I have total confidence he’ll deliver the glowing results I’m after. If you want transformative, top-tier dermatology, Dr. Lancer is the best. Highly recommend! 🌟🙌🏼♥️
Lancer Dermatology -- 440 N Rodeo Dr I've been a patient of Dr. Lancer's for more than 20 years, and I can say without hesitation: he's in a league of his own. A true perfectionist, he blends medical precision with an artist's eye and a scientist's discipline. His understanding of skin -- how it ages, reacts, and regenerates -- is almost intuitive. Dr. Lancer doesn't just create skincare routines; he curates entire transformations. Every product and protocol he prescribes feels tailored with surgical accuracy and luxury in equal measure. His results aren't quick fixes -- they're long-term investments in your skin's future. Yes, he carries a Beverly Hills price tag -- but after two decades of luminous, camera-ready skin, I can honestly say he's worth every penny and then some.
I've been a patient of Dr. Lancer's for over thirty-five years. I found him through a Vogue article that mentioned how people with certain ethnic backgrounds can scar easily. I needed two moles removed, and I was scared since I am Greek which was one of the ethnicities mentioned. I didn't want the moles removed only to be left with large scars. I asked Dr. Lancer, "Will I have scars if you remove the moles?" In a very dry voice he said, "Yes. Terrible scars." Then, he shook his head and smiled. "No. Don't worry." I am very familiar with his sense of humor now, and his brilliance. He cares so much about everyone. I have no scars--and no wrinkles either--thanks to Dr. Lancer.
Hello everyone, I’ve been going to Doctor Lancer for the past 15 years. He is a professional he’s an artist and most of all he does care he doesn’t overfill you. He makes you look like you in a youthful way. I feel bad for the people. Don’t have to write a bad review on him. It’s totally not true. I just wanted to write a review how I see him how he’s treated his patient and myself. I was referred by his patient that went to him for over 30 years and these people I respect who goes to him and I love him. He’s the best in my opinion people should go and see for himself and you won’t regret it Tonia Hall
A skincare brand that does not sell their products at their own flagship store - unless you’re a patient.
Natalie is FANTASTIC. Her facials are truly amazing. She takes her time, listens to your concerns and gives you an incredible customized treatment. I recommend Natalie for your every day skin care or for pre event glowing skin! Thank you Natalie for being so wonderful!
Dr. Lancer's products are overpriced and similar in quality to drugstore brands. I bought a few things to strengthen the skin barrier and improve the redness on my face, but they didn't do much. One of the products even made my skin worse. I decided to return them all and use Aquaphor on my face overnight. The next day, my redness was almost gone. Lancer skincare products are essentially the same as drugstore products, just marketed under a brand name and sold at a much higher price.
Dr. Lancer is hands down the best dermatologist in the country. If you have a skin problem, he will know how to solve it. HIs staff are friendly and warm. His office is beautiful.
I’m writing because I saw an overall rating which in NO way represents my Dr. Lancer! He is SO kind despite his initial dry sense of humor, he CARES, but wants his patients to care too! I’m not rich, but I am willing to save and pay for his excellent professional advice….good skin care a part of that commitment to healthy skin! He found a suspicious “thing” on my lip when he dropped into my facial to say “hello”, he saved me many years of agony. His staff is top notch! Friendly, funny but most of all caring. I love him and wish I was still in SoCal so I could see him more frequently ❤️

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
