After over 12 years of not having a Primary doctor and gaining over 100lbs by bad eating habits....I began getting very sick with a variety of issues such as debilitating migraines, and falling asleep after meals and when just sitting down. It was dangerous to drive and even to stay awake at work. After being recommended to me by a trusted doctor I made the big step to go and see what was wrong with me in October of 2022. After meeting his very kind and welcoming staff and nurses I met with Dr. Kurtz. He spent a lot of time wanting to know my medical history and was very warm and welcoming. He did a comprehensive physical and did blood work checking for everything possible. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes but told me not to worry and had a very good comprehensive plan to begin fighting this. With the right instruction on a healthy diet, exercise, and medication I was able to beat this disease that for many people is a death sentence. Aside from that I have lost about 85lbs "SAFLEY" and no longer have migraines just by closely listening to his advice and doing what he recommended. He told me from day 1 that he would help me to live for a few more decades so I could enjoy my children and future grandchildren.His practice is Concierge and it is explained upfront when you make your first phone call clearly and there are no surprises. I highly recommend him to anyone who either wants to continue in good health or wants to take their life back and I can assure you Dr. Kurtz will walk with you down that road to achieve your best health possible.

If you want a doctor who spends the whole time at his computer - he's your guy. After seeing blood work up results, I asked him what one of the tests was for - he told me to look it up on Google - or it might have been WebMd. Can't remember - was in shock over his response. Had insurance problems - his office advised to call my insurance & when I did the insurance company told me that was the job of the doctor's office. There's more - but I think I've said enough for now.

Dr. Kurtz is the best doctor, no exaggeration. He is very caring and genuinely is concerned about helping his patients. He is great at diagnosing what is wrong when no one else can figure it out. If I could give an extra star I would!

Dr. Kurtz is externally intelligent, thoughtful, and professional. I highly recommend him as he has been working with my family for over 10 years and I have never been happier with an internist.

We already knew the US healthcare system was broken but here's a new one! My OBGYN recommended Dr. Lyle Kurtz and he has very good reviews so I reached out to make an appointment over the phone. I was told that Dr. Kurtz has a "concierge" practice as of May 1 2021. What?! His office explained if you want an appointment you have to pay $3000 up front per year to be in his club of patients to get an appointment! I asked "Is this an effort to keep poor people out?" The office assistant had no comment. Greedy Dr. Kurtz' concierge practice is clearly and transparently an effort to keep medical services only for people of privilege and to give them "special attention" while keeping underserved people out of his office regardless of the insurance you have. Please steer clear unless oppressing others appeals to you.There are lots of good doctors out there. Take your business to one who is not elitist and greedy.
