List of Mark P Goodman's Reviews
Doctor Mark Goodman is a great doctor He has been my doctor for over 15 years. I highly recommend him he really cares about his patents.
He is a terrible physician. Arrogant (for no reason), lacking energy and rude. His billing practices are the worst i have ever experience by a lot.
Terrible. Just terrible. Fired him. Prefer my dog's Vet.
I was a patient of Dr. Khvowitz for almost 40 years. He retired and Dr Goodman took over his practice. I made an appointment to see him and for the first three appointments he never once took my blood pressure or laid a hand on me. That’s not my idea what doctors do. I’m an 81-year-old man in good health still, the normal proper precautions checking my vitals seems to be something that every doctor has always done regardless of where I go or what age I am. I have a blood and urine analysis done on a semi annual basis. The tests are usually sent to Quest diagnostics who sends them back to the doctor in PDF form. Dr. Goodman or his medical assistant, if you could call her that, never got back to me with the results. I called several times and Karen got back to me and said she would send a test results. The young man that works for them, David, screenshot each of the test and sent it to me in a text message. Besides the fact that they were almost unreadable, it is very difficult to compare them to the previous test. It was obvious to me that Dr. Goodman never even looked at them Because some of them were abnormal and no comments from him were ever given to me. As much as I tried to tell Karen what a PDF was, she couldn’t get it and I never got the test properly sent to me. I was recently sick and wanted to speak to Dr. Goodman or a doctor on call over the weekend. He doesn’t have an on-call doctor backing him up. So his new assistant Felitia called me on Monday to make an appointment and it took the better part of two days for me to see him and I was still very sick. I wanted to talk to Dr. Goodman before I wrote a review. I thought we could critique what happened to me and it would help his practice and perhaps the way he does his business. He did not want to talk to me, he almost threw me out of his office because I think Felitia probably told him what was coming as I had complained to her about it. Last but not least is the concierge fee. $750 for last year and $750 for this year. Dr. Khvowitz never charged me a concierge‘s fee. I might’ve felt differently had I been treated with the normal patient care that one expects when they go to a doctor. I think his methods are slipshod and someone disconcerting.
if I could give him a zero I would. He told my 90-year-old parents that my father needed to go to the emergency room, but did not tell them why. he simply told them that his caregiver should pick him up from the office and take him to the er. I am a physician, and when I called his office to speak with him, he refused to speak with me and his secretary left me on hold for over 30 minutes, after which i called again, and the office was closed. disgusting behavior. he should be ashamed to call himself a doctor. needless to say, this is not the only incident where unprofessional behavior has transpired. there have been other times that have left a bitter taste in my mouth, but this was the last straw. please do not trust this man to do right by you. coming from another physician, i hope this review is helpful to the reader. i would never treat a patient or their family member this way.
As with the majority of the reviews on this, DO NOT GO HERE. Their billing practices are antiquated. There has been no responses to my emails nor calls. I paid my invoice and still received an invoice a month after they received and cashed my check. Such billing practices and behaviors are so unprofessional, I felt compelled to write this review. BEWARE. If for some reason you still want to go to this practice after reading all of these reviews, be sure to get a detailed invoice and document all services and payments.
Dr Goodman is so caring and is a great doctor. He is very thorough and spends plenty of time. He always answers my questions. I joined his concierge group and he’s very responsive. He even called to wish me a happy birthday! Not a lot of doctors do that! I’ve never had a billing problem even before I was concierge. Karen who runs the office is also great!!!! I highly recommend him!
The best GP I've ever had. If something is off on a blood test, he doesn't let it slide, but will make sure you come back to get rechecked. He's done wonders for me and my mother goes to him too now. Thorough and cares. My last GP who practiced at a reputable location left me with permanent nerve damage and I found out left someone else I know with kidneys that will never fully function again bc he didn't think small things being off were worth exploring further. (...If someone has had a billing issue, that is not the mark of whether or not a doctor is a good physician.)
Great doctor, horrible billing service. Four years later, I get a call from a collector regarding a physical from 2015. Karen the office manager doesn’t have a clue how to run an office. Deeply disappointed in their office practices.
Unfortunately, I’ve also had a horrible billing experience with Dr. Goodman’s office. In 2016 I had my usual annual physical, but did not receive a bill until one year later for ~$650.00. This amount was over 4 times the co-pay amount paid in all prior years with the same PPO insurance. I immediately emailed both the billing office (Henry) and the main office (Karen) asking why the amount was so high? I never received a reply to this email, or to the next 4 emails I sent as each subsequent bill was received. I asked to understand and resolve this bill, but never received anything but another bill with the same amount. Last month Dr. Goodman sent me to collection for almost double the original amount. I have never had a collection notice in my life and this was(is) very stressful to me. I contacted the collection company and was told that they were unable to adjust the amount and that I would need to directly contact the Doctor’s office. After 2 additional emails and phone calls, Karen called and informed me that Dr. Goodman would not speak to me and discuss my account. This left me with the options of paying the now inflated amount, or having it reported on my credit. I paid the full amount. Some other reviewers have suggested that Dr. Goodman is a competent physician and that these billing issues should be considered separately. I disagree. The office is controlled by Dr. Goodman and bears his name. He must be aware of these unscrupulous billing practices (and poor reviews) and could have responded to me at any time to resolve this. I placed my health and trust in Dr. Goodman for many years and was ultimately treated in an extremely unprofessional and uncaring manner. Shame on you Dr. Goodman!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
