Unresponsive and unprofessional. DO NOT reach out to this facility for your care. They do not answer phone calls. Not from me and not from my pharmacy. My prescription has been incorrect for months and I cannot get in touch with anyone to fix it. I used to love my provider here. She unfortunately went on emergency leave and I was switched to someone else. Very little communication from him and he never booked follow up appointments for me. Most recently I was waiting for a medication refill and my pharmacy was getting no response from him. I called MindMD and they told me they moved to a new practice and my insurance may not cover care from them anymore. Nobody informed me of this beforehand and all of my medications are out of refills. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated.

Terrible experience. I was seeing a counsellor for over a year and being prescribed medication. That was all fine. About two months ago, I got a voicemail that my telehealth appointment was cancelled. OK. This has happened before and it was fine. Someone always reaches out to reschedule. not this time. Two months pass. My refills have run out. I message that i need a refill. No response. I call. I call for 4 days. Finally I get a return call from someone who tells me my NP is on leave for three months. No one told me. AND Mind MD became a "new entity" and my insurance was no longer accepted. WTF? I've been feeling like trash all week because my prescriptions were halted suddenly. I'm so angry. This is gross. Do not deal with these people
I am wildly disappointed at the complete lack of compassion or care from the admin team. I suppose they are happy with their clients and don't want anymore with how curtly they treated me and never called me back to book an appointment. I went to a local urgent care and was given much better care than this establishment I was hoping to work with. After seeing a few negative reviews of the same tone, I get it. I would think that when it comes to mental health a facility would choose compassion and care with their potential clients. Do better and advertise your services accurately.
My first visit was encouraging and super helpful. Hayley was thorough and informative. I felt seen by medical professional for the first time in years. THANK YOU!!!
Everyone was incredibly friendly, and I felt really cared for during my assessment. I loved that I was provided additional support and resources to aid in navigating a more holistic understanding of my circumstances.
Thank you for the two chicanas who were very helpful to me yesterday. The ginger lady office manager kinda tall needs to learn some compassion or the word empathy. How do you work at a wellness clinic and treat people life that?! Why would I want to spend money in there after being treated so disgusting.
This place is a complete scam. They advertise same day services but don’t actually offer that. I waited over a week for my appt. An hour before the appt, despite numerous phone, text and email confirmations that day, they called and canceled my appt! They said the paperwork was incomplete and they didn’t notice until an hour before. I’m so glad that I didn’t waste my time or risk getting care here. This place is a joke.
I didn't want to write this review. I wanted to first bring up my concern directly with my clinician at MindMD Wellness. But I've left multiple messages over several days and haven't gotten a call back, which alas wasn't surprising, because in the year or so that I've been going to this clinic I've found that the way to get a call back is to be lucky enough to be answered by somebody in the office. Usually it's the answering service, and I've never gotten a call back from a message left with them. So I'm writing this. My clinician had written several series of prescriptions for me for Lexapro and Depakote. There's been some specific stress lately that's been making it hard for me to stay asleep, so in our last session I asked for something non-narcotic to help me get a full nights rest. My clinician suggested a trial dose of Hydroxyzine, and wrote the prescription. He was so amiable and helpful that after the session I wrote him a 5-star internal review. Then, curious about the new drug I would be taking, I looked it up. And immediately saw this: "Alcohol: Avoid. Very serious interactions can occur." No huge deal, as I barely drink at all, but still, something the clinician might have mentioned. Then I looked up further interactions, and got this: "Lexapro and Hydroxyzine interaction can lead to heart problems, such as irregular heart beating. Though this effect is rare, patients with existing cardiovascular disease are vulnerable and require an alternative combination of drugs for their main diagnosis." Rare or not, the clinician should have brought this to my attention, specifically because my medical history, which I supplied when I first came to the clinic, includes intermittent atrial fibrillation -- a potentially dangerous irregular heartbeat. Then I looked up Hydroxyzine and Depakote, and got: "Using Hydroxyzine together with divalproex sodium may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating. Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination." As I am 70, this too should have been brought to my attention. Checking drug interactions is a basic and essential tool for any doctor prescribing any kind of drug. I hope this review will prove helpful, both to my clinician, who I believe actually does care about the welfare of his clients, and for anybody else who may be using the services of MindMD. I am not saying absolutely not to use their services. Clearly, others have had a good experience there. I'm just saying to be careful and aware. Thank you.
I was referred here by UCLA's behavioral health program since they subcontract with them. I was told these services would be covered by insurance. I had a 10-15 min video call with an NP Sean Theus that was not well versed in psychopharmacology. I was then billed by them $652 for an hour of psychotherapy that never happened and another hour for prescribing a medication that was not needed and had interactions. This is absolute healthcare fraud and they should have legal action taken against them. Trying to take advantage of patients with mental heath issues is absolutely not okay. I have emailed and called their billing department and have yet to hear back . It's been month. Their lack of response shows their guilt hoping insurance or I will just give up and pay it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
