In the middle of the pandemic this doctor published a newsletter, "Update from your doctor" blaming China for causing two pandemics --Bubonic Plague and COVID-19. File under fun facts? No, not if you are in the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and the President has been using racial slurs like "China Virus" and your safety is being compromised. In the same newsletter he warned of the "Chinese Hack Attack". How does demonizing China benefit his patients? Attacks on the AAPI community increased in 2020/2021. Anti-Asian rhetoric disguised as trivia pursuit is not helpful, it's harmful. How he has used his platform and access to privilege make makes me question his judgment, his ability to provide conscientious care, and maintain safe spaces.Here's a stat Dr. Wilson, this past year there have been 2,795 anti-Asian hate incidents reported.A pandemic by definition is a world problem. It matters less on where it started and more on how we unify to fight the virus.

Dr. Wilson is AWESOME!!! Thank you for taking me seriously when nobody else would listen. This wonderful DOCTOR respects and takes GREAT CARE of his patients. He has always been there when needed, by the way you should take a vacation, and Dr. Wilson would say something funny to cheer me up when feeling under the weather. He never mentioned my accent and corrected my Spanglish... MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!

Personable, compassionate, experienced

There was an error in pre-op orders for one of my ankle surgeries. They listed echocardiogram instead of EKG, so my primary care doctor (the amazing Leif Lunsford at Exer More Than Urgent Care) sent me to Dr. Wilson. He is AMAZING! He sat down and walked through the images with me, explaining everything we were looking at. It was incredible. I always assumed I had a bad ticker because I have the same heart murmur she had (and her heart was trash). Not so! I sleep better. I wish there were words to describe how comfortable Dr. Wilson made me feel. I have anxiety, so I worry about EVERYTHING. When a heart worry sneaks in, I remember how calm I felt in Dr. Wilson's office and the worry goes poof! Plus, since I've been Dr. Wilson's patient, I get his fabulous coronavirus update emails. I get 95% of my Covid information from his emails (and the links to articles).

I have not had the opportunity to seek out Dr.Wilson for medical care. However, a friend forwarded his newsletter to me and I was very impressed by the information, thoughtfulness and balance of the content. The music for the soul was an added bonus! If his practice is anything like this newsletter, it's golden.

I live in London, England but a friend in Nashville has sent me some of your "An Update From Your Doctor" series. I have learned a lot from these but none more so than the article on blood cells and how they work. I had never taken an interest in this topic but in these strange times insight is welcome. So thank you for explaining this complex issue clearly and concisely. And I appreciated the guarded optimism that maybe, just maybe, we have some immunity to the virus even if we have not been exposed to it. I look forward to future articles.

How do you know so much?

Dr. Reed is very knowledgable and thorough. One can feel safe and well cared for. I especially appreciate his newsletters about COVID 19. They are informative and help sort through all the latesg information and give a synopsis.

I look forward to Dr Wilson’s emails. He is the voice of reason. And I love the music and literature references. He’s truly a Renaissance man!
