List of Scott M Leeds's Reviews
Truly exceptional physician. I had to make a change of a medical provider upon the change of my insurance and I feel very happy finding Dr Leeds. He is very caring, knowledgeable, intelligent and he took time to listen to me and I wasn’t rushed which I believe is almost non existent experience in nowadays medicine. His staff is very nice. I appreciated that I was given a prompt timely call after my visits regarding my results and I found the young lady his assistant very genuine and warm. Thanks for the experience.Truly exceptional physician. I had to make a change of a medical provider upon the change of my insurance and I feel very happy finding Dr Leeds. I love Dr. Leeds! He's been my doc for over 10 years. He takes time, is a great listener and thoroughly wants to understand what is happening with you. I've had 45 minute appointments - unheard of in the medical world. He knows me by name and I'm a person, not a number. The office is intimate and friendly.
I've been going to Dr Leeds for over a decade and he has been great.
Great first visit. Dr. Leeds was very thorough and professional. He was also very kind and thoughtful. He gave me referrals within 5 minutes to cover all my medical needs. Office receptionist was kind and also very professional.I'm so glad I listened to my gut and did not take these reviews to heart. I'm confident that I will be a patient of his for a long time.
This doctor hurt my nuts. He insisted on doing a physical when I said I didn't want one. I've had it done before and I wasn't worried about a hernia but he insisted it had to be done and he shoved his finger into my nuts separated them so that his fingers were in between my left and right nut. He continued to shove his hand up. Still to this day (5+ years later) when I just THINK about it I sense pain in my ball sac. He did it so hard I can only assume that it was on purpose because any man would know that hurts! I've had a women doctors do this test on me before and it wasn't painful. He also seemed to dislike me and was not nice to me even though I was very soft spoken and polite. He talked down to me and I felt like he had resentment even though I never met him before. The entire situation reminded me of a high school bully that hates you for no reason. I learned a lesson that just because he is a doctor in Beverly Hills doesn't mean he is a good doctor. This guy is a fucking nutcase. His wife at the door checking people in was nice and the office was clean and well kept but Scott Leeds is straight up my nightmare. I would NOT recommend this dude if you are a man, maybe he's nice to women but I would tell anyone I know and care about to go someplace else.
He was the worst doctor I have ever visited in my life. After my first visit with him I switched PCP immediately. He is very rude and does not know how to communicate effectively and kindly.
Scott Leeds does not know how to speak with new patients. He is late and he is very rude. He tries to use large jargon and medical terms to make his patients feel inadequate. I came to him because I had trouble with my sinuses and he did not even check my nose
Dr Leeds is a caring, thorough & incredible patient-focused physician. I have been a patient for over 10 years, in excellent health fortunately. I strongly recommend Dr Leeds!
Pros: - Punctual with appointments (no one was ever in waiting room when I arrived for an appointment -- or when I left)- Referred me to a good podiatrist - Messages left on the answering machine returned within 24 hoursCons:- He is not Board Certified- $80 Annual "membership" fee. (Was only charged for first year. There was a new nurse/receptionist when I returned the second year and I think she forgot and I wasn't going to bring it up.)- Never had my file/chart or a tablet with him. Took notes on 3M Post-its or note pad left by pharmaceutical salesperson. - Previous and current doctors always weighed me, checked blood pressure, temperature and pulse when I was put in exam room and waiting for the doctor. My vitals were never checked on visits to Dr. Leeds and I am on three different medications one of which is for blood pressure.- Criticized my previous doctor for not following up w/ me after putting me on meds with refills. I explained that my insurance changed and he was no longer my physician so he couldn't follow-up.- Not sure if this is an insurance issue or doctor issue, but I was notified by the new insurance company that I needed blood work since I was on some serious meds. I ignored for a few months since it wasn't from the doctor and my prescriptions were still being refilled. When I finally relented and went for blood work, I assumed they were sent to the doctor. He had no record and didn't seem to understand when I told him I rec'd three letters from the insurance company over 6 months telling me to get blood work done and check various levels to make sure all was functioning as it should. - He did order his own blood work and changed one prescription increasing the dosage. He said I could either take 2 pills a day or in order to avoid "pill fatigue" he could give a higher dosage in one pill. When I got the prescription it was the higher dosage 2x/day. I called for clarification, but never got a return phone call. In his defense, I'm not confident that the new nurse (who may already be gone) got him the message.
Dr Leeds is a caring, thorough & incredible patient-focused physician. I have been a patient for over 10 years, in excellent health fortunately. I strongly recommend Dr Leeds!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
