Stuart H. Kaplan's Online Review Report Card

I have worked in medicine for over 30 years and can easily say that I have rarely met a doctor as thorough and thoughtful as Dr. Kaplan. He takes his time and goes the extra mile to ensure the health and well being of his patients. He is extremely intelligent and patiently explains things as a skilled teacher would. He managed a tricky, unusual medical situation for me with a perfect outcome. As well, he listened to my concern about something that looked like nothing (when another physician had dismissed it - and me - as immaterial) yet ended up being something serious. Dr. Kaplan, with his calm and lovely demeanor, took care of the problem and took great care of me. There are few people in the world I would trust with my life - he is one of them!

Don't buy his lip mask. It doesn't work. And you have to pay shipping both ways to return it.

Though I was told on phone that Dr. Kaplan took my insurance, the office billed me as though I was out of network instead of checking more thoroughly with the insurance company when they rejected the claim.Dr. Kaplan seemed more interested in pushing laser services than checking my skin for precancerous signs. And no follow up whatsoever. I would not go back to him.

I am writing on behalf of my daughter. The service in this office was appalling. We were told that they took her insurance, United Studen Health Care, but ultimately didn't, and she was charged full price. Dr Kaplan suggests additional and completely unnecessary tests. Thank you for hiring me years ago, your office was interesting to say the least. BUT an even bigger thank you, to you and your wife for FIRING me once you found out we were expecting a baby. YOU guys did us a huge favor!! I was able to enjoy my pregnancy and be home for 2 years w my baby! You truly gave us the biggest blessing in disguise. For a while I was angry and even wanted to file a complaint against your practice for "Wrongful termination," but in the end it wasn't worth it. Karma has blessed us with so much more. I just hope this doesn't happen again to another unsuspecting, hard working employee.
