All the doctors here are great!

UCLA is the worst. Nobody answers the phones. Impossible to get an appointment. Go literally ANYWHERE else.

Please make sure you get pre-authorization from your medical insurance prior to visiting. My PPO plan through United was rejected here resulting in a MASSIVE bill for a simple check up. Even if you go to their website they say they accept United but they might not. Overall it has been an awful experience.

I've had a terrible experience with this facility. Despite representations that my United Healthcare PPO would be accepted. It was in fact not accepted resulting in a MASSIVE bill for primary care. Even if you go to their website they claim they accept all type of insurance. This is probably not the case.

Dr. Pauline Yi is absolutely AMAZING! She is an extremely gracious, respectful, caring physician. After years of living abroad and with no personal recommendation of a PCP in LA, I came across some patient reviews of Dr. Yi and decided to take the risk. Let me say, she is everything any positive review can say an more! She holds true passion for caring for her patients, listening and understanding concerns or pain, explains in detail options, procedures and next steps, responds to messages promptly or has someone from her equally amazing team get back to you asap. I am so fortunate to be her patient and I feel very safe in her care! Thank you Dr. Yi for your work ethic and care!

Dr. Punkey is the only physician who actually has listened and understood my Long Covid symptoms. Everyone else either thought it was in my mind or had no idea how to help me. His support staff is incredible and my questions and referrals are addressed immediately. I am driving from San Diego just to see Dr. Puneky and his associates.

I know many people had a great experience with Dr. Pauline Yi but I, unfortunately, had a horrible experience. I came in for two very routine tests (a swab test for a mysterious lump and a pap smear) and they were both the two most painful tests I have ever done. I've had a biopsy before and that was less painful than her attempt at these two tests. I don't even know how one makes those simple tests very painful but she somehow did. Also, she must have either forgotten to send them to the lab, or completely botched them. I had to call UCLA Health 2 weeks later to ask when the results would come in and they had no idea the tests were done. But they did eventually call me later and found them but said the samples were no good so I would need to come in and get the tests done again.Dr. Pauline Yi must have been having a bad day??? I don't know how someone messes up this bad for such a basic test and the fact that she made these two things very painful shows how careless she is. She also left the office a number of times because a late patient came in and would come back to me in between her assistant asking what to do with the late patient and other random questions. There would be 20-30 minutes of me just waiting if she was going to assist me with my appointment or not. This seemed very unprofessional. If she's your current doctor and you love her that's all good, but if you are looking for a new primary care physician like I was I would not recommend her. This is one of the worst doctor visits I've ever had in my life.

Me, my wife, my son, my parents and my wife's parents all go here to dr Puneky. We have been going there for a few years now. I can say for certain the office is very well run. Yes appointments are given weeks in advance but the run on time and they are very attentive. The front office is very polite and efficient. If they are the representative of the doctors, the doctors must be doing something good. Wright now my family and I get appointment easily for dr Puneky. My fear is that he gets too busy and then for it tr it t to y

This review is specifically for Dr. Pauline Yi. She is a fantastic and personable Dr. I first started seeing her around Spring of 2021 at the DTLA location and will be following her to her Beverly Hills location now that she is no longer available at the DTLA office. I live in Echo Park and the traffic is worth it, that's how awesome she is.Her specialty is internal medicine and pediatrics.She has a great bedside manner, is very easy to talk to, is a good listener, and is thorough during visits. Her upfront but friendly manner is very appreciated and she does not make you feel patronized or silly. She also makes herself very assessable. I highly recommend her services!
