Wendy Chang's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chang is knowledgeable, kind and capable. I had a consultation with Dr. Chang in 2018 to explore my options and decided to move forward with IVF. But life happened and we had to delay the procedure several times and then COVID hit and there was further delay. If you are embarking on the IVF journey, it will be frustrating and confusing... and you want to have confidence in your doctor and we absolutely did. It was a difficult process but ultimately we were successful and gave birth to a healthy baby girl this June. I always felt that Dr. Chang gave us sound advice and really cared about improving our chances. I agree with the other Yelpers that she is quite meticulous and keeps up to date with new research. Her nurse Kimberly was our favorite.

From the moment I met Dr. Chang I knew my fertility was in the best of hands. I've been fortunate enough to work with her and her incredible staff for several years now. I first saw her for egg freezing. I am so grateful that I put my future family in her hands. Dr. Chang's goal from the start wasn't to just freeze my eggs but to help me freeze the best eggs possible and so from nutrition to lifestyle choices, supplements and more she invested every ounce of knowledge and resources she had to help optimize my outcome. I am so thankful that she did because when I came back several years later with my husband to fertilize and eventually transfer an embryo created from those frozen eggs we were blessed with our beautiful son. One of the things I appreciated the most about Dr. Chang's approach is she looks at both the male and female aspects of fertility. She put the same effort into helping my husband get his sperm optimal as she did with my eggs. She is no nonsense but she is always optimistic and encouraging and leaves no stone unturned. She is not a one size fits all for treatments, she looks too find what your specific problems and obstacles are and treat you accordingly. She is beyond versed in all things fertility and up to date on the latest in advancements in the field. The entire staff was there for us through the emotional rollercoaster that is IVF. We worked with the team at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and they couldn't have been more professional, safe, patient and available! Fertility treatments are anything but guaranteed but with Dr. Chang on your side you can be sure that she wants to help you achieve success. We're blessed to have gotten to work with her and highly recommend her.

Dr. Chang is the best. I found she cared about my husband and I and wanted the best for us. She spent time with us and listened to our needs, which our initial dr did not do. She did her best to set us up for success. I am so greatful for Dr. Chang!!!!

I cannot speak more highly about Dr. Chang and her staff. We did a lot of research before choosing our fertility doctor and we could have not made a better choice. She is kind and patient, taking the time to truly listen and understand our needs. Even though she is incredibly busy, we never felt rushed. She always explained everything in great detail, giving us all our options along with her recommendation. Not to mention, she is a rockstar in her field. When my wife was not getting pregnant after multiple IUI attempts, she did everything she could to find the problem before moving on to IVF. My wife and I didn't want IVF treatment that was too aggressive and she never pressured us. We got pregnant in the first round of IVF using acupuncture and diet along with the medical treatment. Her staff and nurses are also amazing. They are all so kind and helpful. They always returned our phone calls and answered all our questions. We felt we were in great hands, especially with Kimberly and Maria. The only issue we had was with the billing department of the clinic itself which has nothing to do with Dr. Chang. It was hard to track down itemized receipts we needed for insurance reimbursement. They also overcharged us twice which could have been easily overlooked since you pay upfront. Pay attention to your costs and stay on top of the billing department. We are LGBT and never felt any sort of prejudice, which we've read happens in other clinics. The facilities of SCRC and Dr. Chang are the best combination when it comes to fertility.

My husband is a medical doctor so we know how to tell a good one. In our opinion, Dr. Wendy Chang is the best example of a great physician.  Always kind, meticulous, and encouraging.She also has a great nurse, Kimberly who is so very prompt and caring.We recommend her most highly to anyone who wishes a bundle of joy.

Very unhappy experience with this doctor

Me and my husband suffered from unexplained Infertility for 3 years.With the help of Dr Chang we are now proud parents. She is extremely dedicated and truly wants us to succeed in the treatment. We are not rushed to start the treatment immediately. First she prepared my body by changing my eating habits for 3 months.Then the actual treatment was started. Dr Chang is very friendly and answers all our queries. I also want to mention about Dr Chang's Clinical team especially Kimberly. She always addresses my queries on time everytime and took good care of me during treatment. We are very much thankful to Dr Chang who made our family dream come true. I wish I would have found her 3 years back.
