Had a 4 PM appointment. Had vitals taken. Doctor ran in and out to tell me he had another appointment somewhere. Very little information discussed about why I was there. Great previous appointments and service but a litlle disappointed in this "visit" Should have been scheduled more appropriately. Thank You Peter Quackenbush
We've taken our child to Dr. Horner a couple times now, and I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt... Nope. I'll be finding a prediatrician down the mountain. Dr. Horner is a nice man, but knows nothing about children and does absolutely nothing for well checks, milestone or cognitive developmental assessments. He has never even looked at my son's body, felt anything for abnormalities, or anything. The first visit for his 12 month check up, he walks in, picks up my son and sits him on his knee and says, "He looks healthy... do you have any concerns?" That was it. He had to pull out a printed chart and figure out what immunizations he needed. For his 18 month check, when I asked if he was going to assess him and do all that, he says, "The most important question is, do the parents have any concerns?"... ummm and the only actual question he asked was, can he throw a ball? I'm sorry, but even if I do not have any concerns, I, nor my husband, are doctors... I cannot see inside his body to see if there are any abnormalities or unusual markings or missed milestones per say. My son seems like a normal 18 month old, but again... I am not a doctor. I will be finding a pediatrician down the mountain.
Listens well. Proactive when solving problems. Knowledgeable.
Dr. Horner always takes care of me. He listens, teaches and cares.
You want a great physician this is the one to get his calm cool and collect and knows everything he needs to know to get you better I give him a A+ five star . He’s so kind and his bedside manner is wonderful he’s a great guy and a great person all around and a wonderful physician. And he makes things fun for you. Instead of dramatic. And terrified.
Smooth-talking liar that makes care decisions based on politics, not patient's needs. Was considering establishing him as my primary care doc & had a long conversation about everything I have going on & to get to know each other; he was going to take over my care, until we talked about the general response to covid. All but ran out of the room & did not write rx that he had agreed was necessary earlier in our conversation. This guy's probably responsible for a lot of children & young adults dead and dying of myocarditis. Smooth talker, knowledgeable, but absolutely not trustworthy at all. I want my money back. Such a shame. Guys like this are the reason our medical system is in the toilet.
Very knowledgeable and a very nice person.
Not professional at all
I felt rushed and unimportant. I won’t go back.
I moved to California two years ago. Since I have been here I have searched for a doctor that I like. He is the forth Doctor. Boy I struck gold when I found this Doctor. The nurses are so friendly and they complete any needs you may have. The office staff are the kindest and so friendly. Doctor David Horner is the best of the best. He listens to you. You tell him what your needs may be and he works with you to compete those tasks. With his help I have lost 31 pounds within a short period of time. He and I are now working on quitting smoking. A bad habit which i have had for 55 years. Please if you are searching for a Doctor with great bed side manor who will help you and listens, give them a call. Make an appointment you will be glad you did.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
