David Oliak's Online Review Report Card

Rumor has it that someone was committing insurance fraud from his office. It was not Dr. Oliak. I think that's why it's closed temporarily. They're trying to figure out who from his staff was doing this. I have no proof. This is spinning on the rumor mill.

Dr. Oliake has decided to walk away from his responsibilities to his patients. He sent an email to all patients saying you have 1 week before he's gone. This is not right.

I'm giving Dr. Oliake 1 star because he left his patients with no warning. If you want to get your lap band adjusted, he is recommending Dr. Quebbmann who charges $550. Dr. Oliake would charge $150 so I don't recommend going to Dr. Quebbman. The best thing to do if you have insurance is to have your primary care provider give you a referral. That way you will only have a co-pay.

Dr Oliak and his staff are completely professional - warm, friendly and effective.My recent surgery was nearly painless. and because of the in-person education and excellent written materials - not scary.Best of all, I am starting to fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear for more than 10+ years. I have way more energy and my joint (ankle and knee) pain is gone. My labs have returned to normal.During my professional career, I had the opportunity to know and work with a large number of physicians from various specialties. It is no exaggeration to say that Dr Oliak spends far more quality personal time Pre and Post-operatively (answering questions and educating) than anyone I've met.Having this surgery- by this physician - is one of the best things I've done for myself.Greg S.

Dr Oliak and his team is absolutely amazing. My wife and I had the best experience and would recommend anyone considering weight loss surgery to go to Dr Oliak and his team.

This is my first review, and it's my pleasure to write my first review to Dr. Oliak. If you are thinking of doing the sleeve, you don't have to research any longer. I have done my research and I am blessed to have found Dr. Oliak.My first impression was this guy is down to earth, easy to talk to, very professional and thorough, knows what he is doing, has morals which is hard to find these days. He genuinely cares and he is not commercial at all like all others that I have consulted. He only does 3 surgeries a week unlike others. He looked after me before and after the surgery. At the hospital, I was pancaking, his assistants reassured me and were wonderful. They made me feel safe and in good hands. After, they really took care of me. I had the surgery, no complications what so ever. I am so happy and great full to do it.Thank you Dr. Oliak. You made my dream come true. I am so happy to have found you.

All I can say is WOW!! That word doesn't even seem to be enough to describe the service and treatment from the team at the Oliak Center for weight loss. As being a patient that is used to dedicated service and Dr's being detailed oriented and involved Dr Oliak and his office staff go above and beyond. It took me 3 years and meeting with over 10 doctors. I and my family are so glad that we went to Dr Oliak. Thank you to the entire team from the office staff to the Dr himself. You have a fan for life (a much skinner fan than when we first met!)

I hear a lot good comments from my friend I really want to do surgery but he only accepted PPO but my insurance is HMO

My doctor over 10 years ago. I needed him for a fourth opinion. He did lean towards the majority. His front desk person was a Sweetheart. (i'm sorry I cannot remember her name) and his assistant that took my vitals was also very nice. I do recommend this office because they treat you like a person not a chart number. A great support system for success!

My life definitely wouldn't be where it is today if it were not for Dr. Oliak. From the age of 16 he assisted me throughout my weight loss journey and I clearly could not have been in better hands. I am happy to say with the help of Dr. Oliak I have kept 114 pounds off now after 9 years. I went from a size 26 to a size 3 and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't recommend any other, he will help you with the results you need for a better life because he genuinely cares! Thank you so much for everything Dr. Oliak. I doubt I'd be here without you!
