Debra Gutierrez's Online Review Report Card

This primary care physician isn't there for her patients. Dr. Gutierrez is overbooked and not available for urgent medical treatment. I'm being told by their scheduling department that she is not available, although she is actively practicing in this St. Jude Physicians Group.

I have been seeing Dr. Gutierrez since for 5 years. Dr. Gutierrez is willing to explore all the options and listens to everything you are experiencing before recommending treatments or referring specialists. Thanks to Dr. Gutierrez, I was diagnosed early on with the condition I now know I have. She didn't dismiss or downplay my symptoms, which I appreciate a lot. She must be very popular because there is quite a wait time for her in-person appointments. She is a very supportive doctor!

Update: Called the office manager 3 times as noted in their response. Never received a call back. Completely incompetent Doctor and office. I have changed my PCM. This Doctor has too many patients to effectively manage her case load. I have not been able to see her for months because she is booked months out. On the occasion I did see her she walked out in the middle of the appointment because she said she had to go to a meeting. Stop taking new patients you can’t manage the patients you have!

Horrible experience, herds patience like cattle. Waited 3 months for a physical the day of my appointment she is out of the office. Everyone gets sick her being out of the office not the problem. The problem is the office wanted me to wait another 3 months to get another appointment. Terrible patient management, stop accepting nee patients you can’ manage the current patients.

I'd been calling gazillion of times but can't get of anybody. I got lucky one time and ask about my schedule prolia vaccination. Ist response: my provider haven't approved yet the request from the doctor. Lydia told me to call tri care as well for personal follow up only to find out it had been approved 2 days past. Called lydia back and told her the approved request. Then she told me that I have to undergo blood works and they have to wait for the result. To my dismay I told her why are they not informing me if there is a change. Make story short..I went for lab test Fri. Apr 30. Today May 3 I received a call from St Jude and told me to continue taking Vit d and Calcium. I ask the prolia injection if she can sched..she said someone will call me back. 1, 2, 3 hrs now it has been 6 hrs and I am trying so hard to get in contact Dr Gutierrez office and nobody is responding. It was so frustrating and will not recommend to anybody. I just have yo find another doctor. In the meantime my prolia injection was overdue already by 2 months. This is a nightmare and the staff don't care. Maybe Dr. Gutierrez doesn't realize that there is major problem with their health service.

Dr. Gutierrez is friendly and a competent doctor overall. In the past, she has responded quickly to calls and refilling prescriptions. Until recently, I have not had any health problems and only saw her for routine check-ups & prescription refills. Unfortunately, I have now lost confidence in her and her staff after 2 crucial errors leading to the delayed diagnosis and subsequent delayed treatment of my current medical problem which has been painful. I was also not referred to the orthopedist until almost 5 weeks after the initial X-rays showing the problem which has also led to delayed treatment and undue pain. I am now finding another primary doctor.

I haven’t even been to this practice yet but have an appt at 2:30 and have a question but I can’t get a hold of anyone! Have been on hold for 40 minutes. Is this how it always is at this medical facility?

A medically necessary caregiver was refused access to an appointment. The Dr. will not receive information she needs to provide proper care to the patient. We will be finding a new doctor.
