Pauline found a great place for mom in just our first tour. Over the past year or so I had toured assisted living with 2 other placement services, but with Pauline I toured 2 places in 1 visit, and both were very nice and chose the one closest to me. She is very caring and has great resources to help you find the best placement.

Pauline Hampton was very easy to work with. She set up four appointments to visit memory care places with me. I appreciated her professional opinion on what we saw and heard. I placed my husband in memory care at the end of that month and he is adjusting well to his new environment. The whole process went very smoothly with Pauline's help.

I was referred to Pauline by a close friend. At the time I was given her information, I put it aside, thinking my parents were not at the stage of needing Pauline's services. Then it hit us like a ton of bricks. My Mom, 78 years old, fell in the Walmart parking lot and broke her hip and needed to have emergency surgery. The surgery was successful. My mom was in the hospital for a few days, and then off to a rehab facility. In the meantime, my sisters and I could not leave our father alone and were taking turns working from home full time, and staying with my Dad, who has dementia, to be sure he was showering, eating, and taking all of his medications. Once my mom was released from the rehab facility, she had a heart attack and then was a high risk due to her developing a blood clot. My sister and I were at our breaking point, just trying to keep our heads above water. We went online to see if we could hire a reasonably affordable caregiver that my parents would like and approve. Since my mom fired the first one we hired after one day of her services. After days of reviewing photos and bios of caregivers online, we were at a loss. I reached out to Pauline, and after speaking to her, I already felt a sense of relief. She asked many questions about my parents, and within 2 days, she scheduled a meeting with all of us. Pauline was very patient, taking notes on what we were hoping to accomplish with both my parents. Pauline asked about our finances/preferred locations of assisted living. Within 3 days, Pauline called me asking if I would be available to go and tour an assisted living facility in Cerritos, CA. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get my father to go on the tour, for he kept repeatedly begging us not to put him in a home. I was dropping off my mom after a doctor's appointment, and my dad came outside. I asked him if he wanted to go to lunch. He responded Ugh, I don't know? I answered that we are meeting Pauline. Without hesitation, even with his dementia always remembers a beautiful lady. We pulled up to the facility, and right away my dad said I want to go home, and I am not eating. All I can say is it was Pauline with her warmth and trust that my dad, after having lunch and touring the facility he said yes, I want to live here. It was a blessing from above that Pauline was able to find us not only a completely renovated, gorgeous, and clean facility that we could afford. It has been 3 months since my dad was moved from his home into a facility that we love! They take such great care of my dad, and now, instead of my dad sitting in front of a television every day watching Fox News. He is active in attending movie nights, gym classes, bingo, and live music, where he is able to dance and socialize. Pauline was also able to recommend a contact for me to reach out to inquire about VA benefits. My mom is still living in her home for now, and my sister and husband have moved in with her. Once and if the time comes when my mom needs full-time care. We will be reaching out to Pauline for her expertise. Since my dad has been in his new home, Pauline continuously visits with my father and checks in with us to make sure everyone is doing great. Pauline, I owe you so much gratitude and love from our family. It would never have been as easy as it was without your professionalism, knowledge, support, and love. We love you.
