Great Doctor

My mother is not happy with this doctor, she had surgery of the nose because she could not breathe but after the surgery she felt worse Dr. Said told her to get a new surgery now of the outside of the nose, she went to see another doctor and she got an implant in her nose which is called Latera now she can breathe. This doctor does not even deserve one star.

I initially went to see Dr. Said almost 2 months ago. During my initial exam I found him to be very nice and a seemingly very thorough Doctor. He even had me do a hearing test that day without having to schedule another appointment to come in which was great. He also did a great job of explaining to me what was going on and I really appreciated the time he took to answer questions. He had me schedule an appointment to get an MRI done on my brain which I did. The MRI was done on July 3 and the CD with results was ready that day. I figured it would take a few days to possibly a week to get results because of the July 4th holiday but even then it should have been ready by the 5th. Time went by and I went out of town for my daughter’s wedding. I never heard anything from the doctor so I assumed that was probably good news and that I would get a letter in the mail or results posted on My Chart. Neither happened. Finally on July 24, 3 weeks after having gotten the MRI I called the office to ask for results. The nurse looked it up and said that she would print it up and have the doctor look at it and get back to me. After 3 weeks it had never even been read!! It was just sitting there in my file completely ignored. I told her that I was very upset with the situation and she apologized and made excuses about why they didn’t realize that they had received it! This is completely unacceptable to me. This is their job to check these things daily and respond to their patients in a timely manner. If I hadn’t have called I would never have received results and it would have been completely overlooked. The nurse said that it was “ a good thing that I had called!” Not great, honestly. Luckily, the nurse called back that day and said that the test was normal but I did not even get a call from the doctor. Seriously disappointed with this office. This is not the kind of care that is acceptable especially with how much money it costs to see these doctors in the first place. If you plan to get a test there make sure you follow up on your own!

Called to schedule an appointment on referral bc my primary does not have the capability to run the necessary tests to find out what is going on and was told by their receptionist that 'We don't do any tests or throat cultures here. You need to find somewhere else to help you'. I tried to explain that I am scheduling on referral bc my primary does not have the capability for these tests but she said that this office specifically could and was told again that this office doesn't do that and I would need to find somewhere else. I clarified a third time that this office, an ENT specialist, does not have the capability to do throat cultures. She said 'yes exactly'. My doctor's office then called to try to straighten it out and explain why exactly I was referred and essentially had a back and forth argument with the same receptionist who said 'Well my office manager has been here for 20 years and has never heard of this sort of culture or test being done so it isn't something that we do.' He may very well be an excellent physician but I wouldn't know as his office would not allow me to make an appointment based off a very specific referral from my primary care doctor to his office. Atrocious front desk customer service.

The doctor is great. The phone staff needs a course in customer service.

I am very grateful for meeting Dr. Said. He has changed and improved my quality of life. I had septoplasty with turbinate reduction a few months ago with Dr. Said and couldn’t be happier. I am breathing and sleeping much better than I have been in years due to my deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. Dr. Said made me feel welcomed from the moment I met him and explained the process the whole way through. He is compassionate and caring and really put me at ease with this procedure. Even after post op, he was able fit me into his busy schedule to check and make sure everything was healing properly and to clean/ clear my nose. I highly recommend him to anybody in the area seeking a knowledgeable ENT. I am beyond happy with the results.

I was referred over by insurance after I had previously seen two other doctors who misdiagnosed my condition and treatment. After a quick visit I met with the doc who was very polite, mater of fact, and answered all my questions. I told him my symptoms and told him of my previous visits with the doctor. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out my septum was severely deviated but after examination he agreed and said the visuals were consistent with symptoms I expressed. I work in sports medicine and deal with a lot of orthopedic doctors. My sense of a good doctor is extremely strong and I was very comfortable with this doctor. He gave me my options and highly recommended surgery. I of course agreed because my whole life has been upside down and regulated around my breathing problems. The surgery was a success. Greatest decision I’ve ever made in my life. My whole life is now easier not having to constantly battle my breathing problems. The Doctor told me my nose was a serious battle because it had calcified so much (I am a boxer and martial artist with multiple nose breaks). He explained what he did and the specific complexities with my nose. This only strengthened my already strong trust and belief in this doctor. I would a thousand times over recommend Dr. Said to anyone with a similar issue

Took no time to discuss my problem. First time visit didn’t even take my blood pressures. Every other doctor always takes my blood pressure. Didn’t even take the time to discuss my problem and before even I even saw him i had to sit in waiting room and fill out numerous paperwork. Then when I saw him it was about 5 minutes. Wast of time to see him.

No bedside manner, no real solutions only option “ a really painful surgery”
