We absolutely LOVE our doctor, but always cringe a little when we have to call the front desk. Maybe its just a medical office thing, but the rudeness we've experienced is pretty unacceptable. Again, the doctors are wonderful, and thats what matters. Its just difficult because we are calling in and feeling vulnerable, calling about medical issues about our child, and have been treated rudely each of the few times we've called in. Hopefully this improves!

Initially, I was attracted by good reviews. When I called to make an appointment I found out that he doesn't accept any insurance. So, I will politely pass on that.

This is so overdo! Dr. Kagan is THE BEST. And my husband and I often credit our getting through the first year as new parents to Dr Kagan and his team. We left LA three years ago, but Dr. Kagan was our son’s pediatrician for the first four years of his life. As first time parents with no family in LA, we couldn’t have done it without Dr Kagan. We would often come to the office feeling scared, overwhelmed and stressed and always left feeling like, “we got this.” Dr Kagan made our son feel comfortable and welcomed and made us feel confident and empowered as parents. As we look for a pediatrician in our new city, we see how truly spoiled we were. From the immaculately clean, light and welcoming waiting room (which we never spent more than 5 minutes waiting in) to the nearly 45 minute appointments we would have with Dr Kagan, we haven’t been able to find anything comparable. Most Drs barley spend 10 minutes with you these days! I am due with our second son in July and my husband and I find ourselves asking each other how we can do it without Dr Kagan! You can’t go wrong in joining this one-of-a-kind practice.

He is so nice and takes his time getting to know his patients ...he also makes sure he answers all your questions I do recommend this doctor

My son has been going to Dr. Lawrence since he was 10 months old. He has the best bedside manner and he never rushes appointments. He ways answers emails and evem follows up to see how my son is doing after we have come in.

The kids love this place and really respect Dr. Kagan.

Dr. Kagan is as good as it gets.  We moved to Westside Pediatrics after my younger son was forced by another pediatrician to take 4 vaccines at once as a young baby and then ended up having a severe reaction for the next 24 hours which was frightening to say the least.  Dr. Kagan assured us that this was not necessary and that we could do 1 vaccine at a time- and my son never had a bad reaction again.  This was 4 years ago, and we have been with Dr. Kagan ever since.  Both my sons see him, and not only is he super caring, but also knowledgable on literally any issue or question we have had.  He always follows up and truly cares about his patients and the families he works with.  I hope my boys can have him as their doctor forever!

Dr. Kagan is hands down the best pediatrician.  I searched high and low for a doctor for my son.  I had a bad experience with the first pediatrician we went to - he pressured me to give my son a bunch of vaccines in one visit and my poor son had the worst reaction.  He was not himself for over a month!  We found Dr. Kagan and I couldn't be more happy.  From the first visit he listened and went over every detail about my son.  He doesn't rush- he spends the time needed and even more.  Not only that, but he has vaccines that have the best ingredients on the market.  He will never pressure you and only reassure you.  They are top quality - so if you feel the anxiety that most mommies do about vaccines then this is the place to go.  Dr. Kagan has the best bed side manners of any doctor I've been to. He is a genuinely caring doctor.  If you are looking for a pediatrician for your child- look no further!

Dr. Kagan is the best! He was our first daughter's pediatrician, at the recommendation of our amazing obgyn.We so appreciated his expertise and time that he gave to us each time we visited. As first time parents, we had a lot of questions and he always answered them all with great knowledge- both experiential and research based.The office is lovely and immaculate and the staff was very accommodating.We now live in NY and still reach out to Dr. Kagan for his opinion, as we value it that much. Even though we are no longer with his practice, he still takes the time to talk with us. Now that is a doctor you want for your kids... because he truly cares.Could not recommend him and his practice more!
