Lisa Rood's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rood is everything you’d want in a Pediatrician. She is kind, attentive, professional, respectful of our daughters’ privacy, an excellent communicator and so good at listening and getting to the heart of the problem. Our family has been with Dr. Rood since our daughters were born. We always feel heard & well taken care of. She has solved obscure problems more than once; we are so grateful. Dr Rood is amazing. She really listens, zeros-in on what’s really going on and communicates everything we need to know so well. I really couldn’t ask for better. Her support staff (Leeza) is also top-notch. Highly recommend!

Dr. Rood is amazing and has been my 2 daughters' pediatrician for the past 10+ years when I transferred their care from another pediatrician (also wonderful, but not nearly as available as Dr. Rood).  Dr. Rood has made herself available to my daughters, even when there were no appointments available because she cares so much for her patients.  In our years with her, and with the previous pediatrician, they have never given lollipops but are generous with their stickers.  What doctor nowadays gives lollipops?  It saddens me that my older daughter will be "aging out" in a little over a year.  Oh, and yes, her office staff is equally amazing.  Especially Liza!  Love them all!

I trust Dr. Rood and Liza whole heartedly with all my childrens lives. I don't feel like I'm walking into this cold doctor's office when I'm walking in. You know, the offices where you feel so unfamiliar, nervous and uncomfortable. It's like you're visiting with someone who truly knows you. Like family. All staff knows you and the kids by name, and Greet you with kindness. You never feel rushed with appointments. Dr. Rood genuinely cares and hears you and listens to all your concerns. She truly looks out for the best interest of your child. She treats you like a person she sincerely cares about, not only another patient on her roster. It doesn't feel like its a business, you know, like Kaiser. It feels more personal. My kids all love her. I love her. And I'm so happy she can patiently handle my 5 crazy kids.

My sons 1 and 3 and have gone to dr. Roof since birth. She was there in the hospital to circumcise them. I switched my daughter over to her (now 9 at the time she was 5) and all three of my children love her. She's thorough, she cares and she makes sure you know what's going on and includes you in every step of the process during diagnosis and treatment. She is less about jumping to pharmaceuticals and will always pursue what's best for your children. We love Dr. Rood!!

Dr. Rood is the doctor to my three children. She came to the hospital and visited each one when they were born. Whenever I'm concerned or need an appointment, I can call the office and her assistant Liza (or anyone who answers) will relay my message to the advice nurse Kim. I always get a response/appointment in a timely manner. The front desk receptionists, Marisol and Irene, are very professional, informative, friendly and I can always count on them to help me when needed. I always look forward to seeing the office staff and leave feeling like we received the best care. I can not recommend this office enough. 5 stars ladies!!!

It took a while to be able to get in as one of her patients. She came highly recommended but wasn’t accepting new patients. I can see why. She is amazing; listens, drills down to the info she needs and gets the diagnosis all while making the child the center of attention and feeling like a responsible young adult.

This medical office is great. We are always greeted with friendly faces who genuinely seem to remember and care for my daughter. Dr Rood has always made sure all of our questions or concerns are answered and explains things in depth.
