In response to business manager... thank you for responding but I have also called 3 times... hopefully things will get resolved soon. Should not be this difficult to pay my husband's and my bill.

Incompetent front end and billing staff! I came for my appointment 10 mins early, they had 2 ladies at the counter. 1 handling a customer issue and the other taking her time ringing up some stuff while a lady is seated waiting for her goods. The line is backing up and I waited for 15 mins to check in (and I was next in line). They said they needed to take payment prior to my appointment and I asked why have they not been sending me bills? They placed the address wrong in the system and claimed they sent them out in November and December. Then they call guessing their billing department as I am waiting, to see how much I owe and can not give me a full answer. I am now waiting 25 minutes PAST my appointment to be seen. I work like everyone else and I am on my lunch break and do not have time for this type of service. They did call yesterday and left me a voicemail that I have a balance and I called back and no one picked up the phone! Where is the service? The doctors are great but the billing and front end staff ruin the experience! There was also a hiccup with billing claiming my bill was denied because of a second insurance. I have only 1 insurance and have had the same for a very long time. The billing staff needs to pay attention to addresses, phone calls and insurance info if you would like to get paid! Again I love my doctor...and he is the only reason why I will go back!

Dr. Ikediobi was so patient and kind with me. She took the time to answer all of my questions, quell my anxieties and provide detailed aftercare instructions. I really appreciate the time she spent with me to address all of my concerns.

I got to see Dr. Ogechi Ikediobi today for the first time. I was completely taken aback by her compassion and how detailed she was in addressing all of my concerns. I would recommend her to all of my family and friends. She's wonderful.

I received great service and perfect mole removal by Dr. Ikediobe at the Brentwood location of Golden State Dermatology. It's hard to find a good dermatologist. There's a shortage in the specialty. They tend to cluster in the "better" urban areas. For medical dermatology, I'm a Kaiser member, but for cosmetic derm, I want to be pampered and treated with respect. This mole on my cheek got bigger and bigger as I aged. When I looked in the mirror, it was all I saw. I needed it gone. Dr. Ikediobe seemed to be trying to talk me out of removing it. "You'll probably have a scar." Yeah, but I won't have this mole sticking up. Off with it. I wanted it gone then, but she told me to come back in a few weeks. She did a beautiful job of excising it. It's been two weeks, and I don't think I will have a scar. It's healing well. I smeared concealer on it two days ago, and my cheek was smooth! Boom! Gone! Thanks, Dr. Ikediobe. Hope you don't move to L.A. or Seattle.

This is a follow up to my review 10/6/2022. To date, I have had no reply from Dr Ikediobi regarding the wrong diagnosis and wrong medication prescription; Golden Gate Dermatology has not contacted me either to explain why they billed my insurance company after I personally called them and asked them not to. Why should a check be tendered to the aforementioned clinic when the wrong diagnosis was made by their doctor?

I visited Golden Gate Dermatology in Brentwood on August 9th, 2022 for blisters, pain and swelling that occurred on my face a couple days prior. I saw Doctor Ikediobi who diagnosed the problem as "skin irritation" from too much sun and prescribed an bacteria antibiotic. The following day (August 10th), I had to go to the Kaiser Emergency Room as my face felt like it was on fire and I had enormous pain. The emergency room doctor told me I had in fact Shingles of the face and put me on viral medication. He told me the dermatologist had not made the proper diagnosis and to get off the medication she prescribed as antibiotics are useless for a viral infection. I called Golden Gate Dermatology on the same date and told the receptionist that Dr Ikediobi's diagnosis and medication she prescribed was wrong for me and asked them to please not bill my insurance companies. I was just notified by my Insurance Company that they billed them any way. I tried to notify Dr. Ikediobi but I was put on hold by the receptionist (Elizabeth) for ten minutes; she never came back to me. The doctor never got back to me despite several phone calls to her clinic. Shingles are very painful, especially in the face area and can last for one to six months; the nerve pain can take a very long time to subside. Shingles need to be diagnosed correctly immediately or it prolongs the agony. It is vital that a viral treatment be started at the onset of the symptoms. I believe this dermatology clinic should refund the money immediately to my Insurance companies and the doctor should apologise to me for the wrong dianosis and medication.

The worst experience I've ever had! Went in to get to calcium built bumps removed Ogechi Ikediobi, MD, PhD was very rude and 30 mins late for the appt. She said it was cosmetic thing and insurance wouldn't approve it and I asked how much it would cost to remove it she got upset and said "remember I'm the doctor here and need to assess" I asked her ok what do you recommend since. She said go to a plastic surgeon they can move it and was extremely rude. I asked her well your dermatologist why would we go to a plastic surgeon she said she wouldn't do it. She was upset because I asked her why I needed to sit up and down 6 times and to raise my hands up? Apparently That question set her off. I would not recommend anyone to go here and cancelled my appts with their Aesthetician. No customer service, long wait time and extremely rude!

Absolutely adore Patti and Paula, but the call service that you work with is abysmal. Called on a Thursday and was told someone would call me right back to make an appointment. Didn't realize it was a call center at that point and wondered why I required a call back. Monday - still no call back. Call again - call center can't make the appointment and shows no record of my Thursday call. They keep me on the line forever, and still can't make an appointment. They then tell me they texted the Brentwood office and they said to transfer me right over and they'd make the appointment. He transferred me and I got voice mail. It should NOT be this hard to make an appointment. Still no appointment.
