List of Henry Fisher's Reviews
I don't ever write reviews! I cannot help but say how horrible my experience was with Dr. Fisher a few weeks ago. He is the most insensitive and rude doctor I have ever been to. He ran 2 hours late and during a colonoscopy, that is pretty hard to be waiting so long. He never apologized and he just came into my surgery center prep area to look at some paperwork, and really said nothing to me. After my procedure, which was a pretty bad result, he came in after they woke me up, had his back turned to me the whole time, told me how hard it was for HIM with all the polyps I had, that I would have to repeat the procedure in 1 year, he didn't think it was cancer, and he left. No eye contact, no sensitivity to what he just told me or explanation or assurance, nothing except he'd call after the lab results in about a week. As it turned out, he called me 13 days later and I found out from my GP, that the results were available to him after 3 days. To have someone wait on such a scary outcome is unconscionable to say the least. I just had to express my anger and wanted anyone who looks at reviews to make sure to definitely chose a different gastroenterologist!
Dr. Fisher is the best Gastrologist we have ever been to. He goes above and beyond what is required. He continually will follow up to make sure you are doing well. We appreciate him immensely.
Very professional and he cares about his patients.
I was very pleased with Dr. Fisher and the staff when I had my colonoscopy. He, himself actually called me the next day to inquire about my wellbeing. Most doctors don't do that now a days.
Dr Fisher seems to me one of the best and nicest doctors I have ever come across.
Well informed, efficient, caring, thoughtful, skillful. Office is quiet and well run conventionally located on Riverside Rd in Valley Village. He has been my gastrinterologist for many years and I am devoted. Sandra Fayard
Filthy over crowded outpatient surgery site. Stressed rude administrative staff with high turnover and inaccurate recordkeeping. Extensive delays between appointments. Avoid the Nurse Prac., she's there to sell unnecessary procedures. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT PATIENT WELFARE. BE CAREFUL.
Dr. Fisher is my husband's Gastroenterology Specialist and he did an excellent job treating the problems he found during endoscopy/colonoscopy. We initially went to him because of my husband's unexplained weight loss. The primary doctor referred us to Dr. Fisher to do more test. After putting him on anti-biotic treatment, the final test showed everything is cleared. We like his bedside manner, too.
After Dr. Fischer had done my colonoscopy, he showed me the video and he advised me to have him send the video to Dr. Quilicy (surgeon) for whom he had tattooed the place of a tumor...!!! A week later...I had surgery and the (stage 2) cancerous tumor was removed in time...!!!Thank you Dr. Fischer...!!!
I am having my nephew help me with this review as I am a 94 year old woman. Once I left Dr. Fisher I realized from my new doctor that I had had too many MRI's and endoscopy with no results. In the end I had a non-cancerous gall bladder removed at his urging without waiting the proper time to see if it was necessary. Of course my gall bladder was cancer free.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
