Lakeside Community Healthcare Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

I have been 3 times to this Urgent Care facility. One good experience and two horrible ones. I will never go go back. Where are those doctors found?...Today, l went there first thing in the morning with horrible throat pain as a result of an infection. I presented my case with plenty of detail as well as the symptoms. The pseudo Dr. Mahdi Elbassir had no clue. I was partially able to understand his Hindu accent and he  advised me to go home and gargle with salt water. Really? I paid $50,00... for that........Horrible experience. Esaul G

I went there with chronic foot pain. I did an X-Ray. A person who I thought was a doctor told me there is nothing wrong with it and looks fine. So, after 2 days I felt better and did an extreme workout which the pain came back and I could not walk at all. The day after I received a call from urgent care the person who was a doctor told me that I have a fracture. I got shocked, so I found out the guy who told me there is nothing wrong was just a radiologist who is not allowed to diagnose. I paid 250 $ out of pocket to know if there is anything serious and be careful until I get authorization to visit a specialist so if they don't have a doctor available why they don't mention it instead of the wrong diagnosis. I am so disappointed that I injured my foot unconsciously because of a wrong diagnosis. I won't go there anymore.

My wife has seen many other doctors for a variety of conditions. She was very impressed with the staff at Lakeside. Courteous, VERY professional and KNOWLEDGEABLE Her throat condition was rapidly diagnosed and resolved. Highly recommend this group!

Well organized clinic, amazing staff and the Doctor I saw was detailed oriented and took the time to listen to my concerns and was very clear answering my questions, I was very please with their service and I definitely recommend it. I love the fact that they followed ALL COVID 19 Protocols, that made me feel at easy knowing that I couldn’t get infected or anything. They reassured me that I could go back there any day of the week if I had more concerns. Thus, I don’t like been sick... as much I loved the place I want to be healthy and if I need to... I’ll go back there. I found my alternative place to go if I can’t see my Primary Care Physician.Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!Dina B.

After being checked at the door I went in and completed my paperwork. The people at the front desk were friendly. There was a quick vitals check and then I went to the exam room. The doctor was professional and answered my questions and I was on my way. Nice facility and good hours. Highly recommend them.

This place is horrible! I went there because my daughter was coughing. Doctor visited a mask on his face and stayed a meter away from us. He tried to leave the room as fast as he can! The worse thing is, he prescribed completely inappropriate medicine to my 2 years old daughter which didn’t help, instead,gave hard times to my little one! I don’t recommend this place!!!

Gone there today I was impresed:large place, very clean and outstanding service.

Quick in and out considering a full waiting room. Everyone was great and helpful. Would recommend highly.

Went in last night for my son,  we didn't wait too long, nurses and doctors were very nice and did great job on the examination, x-ray and treatment, referral was submitted right away after a wrist fracture was discovered, doctor wrote notes on the paper  and reminded me verbally to call back if I don't not get Authorization # this afternoon.I called back at 1pm today, did not get what I need from front desk, so I asked her to leave message to office manager.  Within 10 minutes, Patricia called me back and gave me the detailed info, and my son got well treated this afternoon. What a good relief to all of my family! I am so grateful, and very much appreciated all the medical professionals we met yesterday and today.

They were quick, given the number of people there. I like that you can get the medical care you need the same day without having to wait days or weeks to see your primary doctor and you don't have the long wait and depersonalized care at an emergency room. Another advantage over seeing your primary care doctor is that at the urgent center they can do tests there and then instead of having to wait to see your primary care doctor to get you an authorization.
