Lakeside Community Healthcare's Online Review Report Card

I've been here for several years only because life gets so busy and it's difficult to find a good, decent place in place your money and trust in. Lakeside Community Healthcare is NOT a place to invest your money nor trust. One Dr., Diana Dermendjian, didn't not bother to return my call for 3 days after I was released from the ER. The supervisor was nowhere to be found - for 3 days! Costco confirmed the medication per Providence Hospital and pieced together the necessary pain medication I should be taking so the were able to give me a 3 day/weekend supply only because Dr. Diana Dermendjian couldn't be contacted. I had medicine prescribed from my vascular doctor and the hospital and I had never had the experience of being in an ER let alone how the medication would interact and if there is a possibility of any repercussions, etc... but no response nor response from the office manager. And when I filed a complaint, Diana Dermendjian response was that I was hostile - I'm 61, disabled, just released from the ER, begging the nurse for a call back before the weekend, and in desperate need of advice. I must have seemed like a real threat.Don't waste your time nor put yourself through such aggravating, childlike behavior. Set a higher standard for yourself and the protection of those you love. DON'T COMPROMISE YOUR PEACE OF MIND!On Yelp, you express being "Sorry" but this is being ridiculously amateur in that you seem to be unaware and unequipped to understanding any of the serious problems regarding doctor's diagnosis and service. And it wasn't just one experience, it was years of experiences - to the point that I went to pay out of my pocket for professionals whose opinions I could simply trust. The only thing that's consistent is the lack of training and medical efficacy and courtesy. Lakeside, from department/recommendations to department, their incompetence is as constant as their misdiagnoses are. "Sorry" is the least of your problems and is far from acceptable. You need educated doctors and assistants who can be trusted through the competence of their service, and through the course of time.

I have been 3 times to this Urgent Care facility. One good experience and two horrible ones. I will never go go back. Where are those doctors found?...Today, l went there first thing in the morning with horrible throat pain as a result of an infection. I presented my case with plenty of detail as well as the symptoms. The pseudo Dr. Mahdi Elbassir had no clue. I was partially able to understand his Hindu accent and he  advised me to go home and gargle with salt water. Really? I paid $50,00... for that........Horrible experience. Esaul G

My appointment with Dr Nowfarrad and his assistant, Kat, was very professional and went very easily. The doc talked me through everything and he was very efficient at preforming the procedure and biopsy and Kat followed it with making sure I understand the follow up care. Thanks and Great Job, Guys!

Went in last night for my son,  we didn't wait too long, nurses and doctors were very nice and did great job on the examination, x-ray and treatment, referral was submitted right away after a wrist fracture was discovered, doctor wrote notes on the paper  and reminded me verbally to call back if I don't not get Authorization # this afternoon.I called back at 1pm today, did not get what I need from front desk, so I asked her to leave message to office manager.  Within 10 minutes, Patricia called me back and gave me the detailed info, and my son got well treated this afternoon. What a good relief to all of my family! I am so grateful, and very much appreciated all the medical professionals we met yesterday and today.

Went in this morning feeling like crap. There were two people waiting outside for them to open, when the doors opened I stepped in behind the first couple, went up to the desk and was pushed out of line by a very rude women that said she was first. I looked at the girls behind the desk and they just looked at me with their mouths open, they didn't say a word, I walked out and went to Burbank Urgent Care and was treated like a human. I will never go back to Lakeside again

The Staff is wonderful, professional and courteous. They are great to have in an urgent situation! They really care about their patients!
