Mark Gerard's Online Review Report Card

Having worked in the medical field for over 20 years I can tell you that I am very familiar with the variance of medical doctor’s patient care approach to their patients. That being said, I can say that Dr. Gerard is one in a million, a true Angel as my mother calls him. His is a true calling, he is dedicated to his patients, devoted to being an excellent physician, and one of the hardest working physicians I know. Both of my parents are his patients and no physician goes out of his way to take the next step, to care comprehensively and to be a trusted physician as Dr. Gerard. Several years ago my husband contracted sepsis from an asymptomatic and undiagnosed condition. I found him unconscious when I went to waken him, rushed him to the hospital where he was found to have almost no pulse and was near death. For three weeks Dr. Gerard orchestrated and oversaw my husband's treatment with the help of three other specialists, one of whom told me directly quite early on that he didn't believe my husband was going to survive. Dr. Gerard was at the hospital several times a day for three-plus weeks to check on him until he was ready to be discharged. In three months my husband will celebrate his 98th birthday, due in no small measure to Dr. Gerard's diligence, persistence and medical acumen. I can't say he walks on water. But it is a close call.

He is very knowledgeable. Takes his time with his patients and listens to what they have to say. Very kind individual who truly cares about his patients.

Great medical doctor. He is concierge and he does have a waiting list but you get what you pay for. He saved me on many occasions when urgent care wasn’t even open. Well worth the money spent. I’ve been to a few different doctors that I wouldn’t trust my worst enemy’s life with but Dr Gerard is top notch (and I know because I am a doctor).

They have a wait list because Dr. Gerard’s practice is full and he offers a concierge service with limited patients. If you do get in he is an excellent doctor with fantastic office staff. Dr. G knows his patients well and he spends time learning what they need or don’t need to avoid going to the hospital. He is extremely knowledgeable and he truly cares and he is never condensending or rude when dealing with a patient.

What can we say about Dr. Gerard. His diagnosis saved my mother's life. He has been more than a doctor to us--a family friend! I first found about Dr. G when I was 40. I was at UCLA's MAC center. I didn't have a doctor and was recommended by his student. Through the years, Dr. G has been a wonderful and conscientious professional. He has a limited list of patients to keep his care level high. Get on his waiting list!

Best doctor I have ever had!   Truly cares about his patients and even calls to check up.  I cannot give him enough accolades.  He just the best!!!

Dr. Gerard is a great doctor. I've been with him for over 10 years now and I feel very lucky to have him. He's smart, he's warm, he's thorough. He cares. He now has a "Concierge Care" practice -- so that person who gave him low ratings has no clue how that works. Yes, it's $1,800 per year, but that includes a major physical and 24/7 access to the doctor. If you're a new patient, I can understand why that would be daunting. But, he practice is now much smaller and it's efficient and I feel fortunate that I can afford to use it. I was with him before he changed over; this, is much, much better.
