I showed up 25 minutes before they closed on a Sunday evening. I was with my 19 month old who has a hurt foot. I saw someone behind the desk quickly scurry into the back. There was a sign on the counter that said they were helping others in the back and weren't taking any more patients for the evening. If you are going to be closed, update your hours. I don't have time to drive around to places that are closed.
DO NOT COME HERE! My grandma came in and this was the closest place she found bc her blood pressure was acting up. I called her and found out where she was, I show up SHES ON THE FLOOR ( half on the sofa they have and half on the floor ) crying and the left side of her face is twitching. I picked her up and no one was even at the front desk, as I pick her up some girl walks out from the back and says " I can't treat her she needs to go to the emergency room" NO SHIT!! This is a medical place why didn't they call 911?! I carry my grandma out and drive her myself to St. Joseph's and they treat her and said she was having a stroke and I got there just in time. This place is literally a JOKE. They need to be shut down for the malpractice they have here. Had my grandma not been so Sick I would have seriously fought someone for leaving her that way. There was a guy there that came out with a wheelchair and helped me get him into the car, he was so nice and it wasn't his fault the receptionist was an idiot .
I walked in & everyone was very nice. They told me it would be about an hour. 2 hours later im finally in a room. A half hour later the doc comes in checks my ears & tells me I have allergies even though I told her I usually get ear infections when I get sick & I had been sick the week prior. She suggested Claritin. 5 days later no improvement so I went to my real doctor & she's say yep u have an ear infection. I don't know if these doctors r just out of school but I've been suffering with this ear infection for 6 xtra days because they can't even diagnose an ear infection right.
Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. They made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend for any urgent care needed.
I have had 3 different experiences with this urgent care center. The first visit was for a last minute Covid test my daughter needed for a travel tournament. We never received the results of the test. The second time we went there my daughter had Covid symptoms and they didn't even test her for Covid. They just told her she probably had a cold and that she looked like she had low iron because she was pale and then tried to get us to go get her tested at quest. The 3rd and final visit was because my husband cut his hand at work and it got really infected. They did a blood test and then gave him antibiotics. After about a week the infection got worse despite the antibiotics and he ended up going to the ER. The ER told him the Dr at Mend prescribed the wrong antibiotics! He ended up getting 2 IVs and they told him had he waited another day or 2 he would have lost part of his thumb because the infection was almost to the bone. 3 days after the ER visit Mend called to tell him they have him the wrong antibiotics. This place is dangerous.
I wish I could give 0 stars. The technician did not know how to administer a TB shot. First, he placed the needle 2 inches away from my wrist, which I have never experienced before. Ok, not a big deal, however that part of my arm actually touches/hits a lot of things, as I found out afterwards. Second, he MOVED the needle as it was in my arm, he literally walked to my other side with the needle in my arm. It was excruciating, and I have had enough TB tests (I work with children), to know that it really should not be hurting that much. Third, he put a bandaid on, then another nurse told me to take it off as nothing should be touching it. Fourth, he did not know if I should return in 2 days or 3 days to get it checked. With all of that movement, pain, and the bandaid, not to mention the placement of the shot, I had a big, painful, red bump at the shot site when I returned after 2 days. A different nurse told me I'm positive for TB, and even apologized several times as if I was going to die from this terminal illness. Now, I had to call my doctor, have them authorize a chest X Ray, pay an additional fee on top of the shot fee to go somewhere else get an X Ray done, just to see if I had TB or not.Thankfully, I don't have TB. Obviously. But I wasted time, money, and even though the shot was on 1/28 and it is ow 3/10, there is a bump under my skin that hasn't gone away from the terrible administration of the TB shot. Save your money and do NOT go here for anything remotely invasive. Worst part? The technician who gave me my TB shot was actually TRAINING someone else! AVOID!
Really, Zero stars! Nothing about this place is urgent. I called Monday am and asked if they had a tech to do X-rays. They said yes come on in. Arrived. Checked in. Waited about 45 minutes to be seen (we were the only ones in here). Nurse says oh we can't today, our X-ray tech called out sick. When I expressed my displeasure and said I even called first they said oh we have students answering the phones and they don't know staffing needs. Got taped up. Asked to return in the AM for X-rays. Also gave a prescription for X-rays to be completed elsewhere if we needed. Next morning we called to inquire about X-ray tech. They said they were not coming in today. Took our prescription and had done at an imaging facility. Facility gave us a disc to return to UC with Back to UC with disk. They said we prefer to do our own imaging I said you told me you had no tech on site today. The reply? Oh he's here now, he was just really late to work. Back to a room where we sat. And sat. And sat. I asked what was going on as I can hear all the staff together laughing and joking about life. Was told, we are waiting on the report from the imaging facility. I said I gave you a disk. Can't you read it? Was told we don't have anyone on staff to report on images. Which really puzzled me. They wanted to take their own images, who was going to read those?I asked for my disk back and left. Still don't know if anything broken. They said they would email report, but I highly doubt I will ever hear from them again.
I am contacting an attorney. I went into mend for a very simple problem and just got hit with a bill from quest diagnostics for nearly $1000. There are multiple tests of the same kind charged, over and over and over again. I am beyond devastated and beyond pissed. I will be suing. If you go to this place make sure to double, triple, quadruple check what they are doing and what they are running. They are con artists and scammers.
This was the worst experience I ever had a urgent care. I brought my mom in for a ear infection and there was only 2 other patients. They made us wait a hour and half in a room and when I asked how long it would be the guy at the front desk had a bad attitude and was ignorant for no reason. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
Stay away! I barely understood the Doctor, wasn't clear about my diagnosis, didn't give me xrays on my lungs and prescribed the wrong meds. So for 2 more weeks I lived in pain until I went to an amazing Urgent Care around the corner. What a waste of time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
