List of Ucla Health Burbank Primary & Specialty Care's Reviews
I am very unsatisfied by the service of this location. If you email the doctora you don't hear back promptl, if you ask a question about a test result I get a response that I could be charged for my messages on MyChart. When I asked the doctors office to clarify exactly which emails would be charged I didn't get an answer. I was in urgent care, I got two test results back with abnormal numbers and I wasn't notified about what I should do next. I have been dealing with major health issues and it is a shame of the lack of responsibility. I'm deeply disappointed. my care previously at UCLA health in Westwood was excellent but it was a few years back.
I was recommended to Dr Melissa Chung by my specialist, and I'm very happy with her !! She is pleasant, caring, easy to talk to, listens carefully and responds appropriately to everything I need to communicate to her. . Very confident in her treatment !
Calm, Cool and Intelligent, Doctor Augustine Chung explains everything about Pulmonology or Pulmonary Embolisms with explanations that an average person can understand. Also with a great bedside manner and with Goofy humor. When I was first diagnosed with a P.E almost every Dentist, Urologist, or regular Doctor told me they were very sorry for me and were very Concerned. Doctor Chung told me we caught it early, and had a plan to control it. He made me feel very OPTIMISTIC and his plan has helped me get better. Can a doctor be BOTH nice and super good at his work. Yes Doctor Chung is. My only concern in leaving this 5 STAR stellar review of Dr. Chung is it might make it that much harder to get in to see him.
I made an appointment to see Dr. Cheng regarding a procedure. I was kind of scared and nervous. Once she came in the room she was very cheerful and happy! That really made me feel better and calm. She listened to my concerns and she also made sure that my questions were answered before and after the procedure. She made sure procedure went very smooth and not painful! She kept asking how I was doing to make sure if I was okay. Ramona, the LVN, also made sure if I was doing okay. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience and for making sure that everything go smoothly!
My appointment was decent but nothing special. Doctor was kind of going through the motions but that's cool. The bad part is that I was charged twice for my annual check up. I asked some additional question about my health (thought that's what you do in a checkup), and now all of a sudden I have a bill. If I would have known that asking some questions during my check-up would be a double charged I wouldn't have asked any questions. It seems very much scam-like. This is something that should be disclosed to a patient.Waiting to see any kind of specialist is many many months. Granted I was double billed for asking questions about my health that got me referrals to these specialists that I haven't seen yet, and my check up was in July.Wouldn't really recommend it. I think I'll switch after I finally get to see an allergist after 3 months!
They have very long wait times to see a dermatologist. 90 days is unacceptable. They need to open new specialists offices while not taking new patients. The wait times are horrendous. 90 days to see a dermatologist is unprofessional!!!! God knows how long is the wait time for other specialists.

I made the appointment and waited 2 months to see Dr Paul Kim. I have to say - he was the worst Dr I have seen including his incompetent staff. I would highly recommend that you do not see him or anyone else in this office. I have already submitted my feedback directly to UCLA health system. Needless to say, I will not be seeing him ever again. After the visit with Dr Kim , he had prescribed a higher dosage of Levetiracetam from 500mg to 750mg even though I had 3 refills left on the 500mg. I just started the 750mg which has made me feel very sick and exacerbated my headaches. It is definitely not a correct dosage- Dr Kim didn't even do a thorough exam with me as he arrived late to my appt and rushed me out as well. On top of that he And his staff has mistakenly looked at different patient files while attending to me which makes me question everything he has said. I am in process of finding another general neurologist, and not in the UCLA system! Furthermore, I couldn't even ask him any questions, because he said that he was running late for his next appointment.........so unprofessional!!! Sonny Chung
My one star is for Dr. Faraghian specifically, over at dermatology. My chart and self-report both accurately reflected a specific diagnosis and he totally gaslit me and tried to treat me for something I didn't have. He tried to prescribe a medication that would have directly countered the medication I am currently taking and acted completely irresponsibly. It is now taking me twice the effort and stress to have my actual issue treated, and I have to wait until June to see the specialist I need (scheduled in January). Until then, I am supposed to be living with the pain and discomfort of current issue.
Dr. Mesropyan is awesome! He's very attentive and reassuring, and it's very easy to get an appointment with him on my free days, which can be tricky to navigate with a new baby.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
