Alexander Lakowsky's Online Review Report Card

I was a patient of his for years , covid hit and threatened me to get the shot or he would only give me partial service. Not one doctors visit since covid. I am charged 1200.00 per month and got basically zero doctors care

This is not a professional doctor at all, very incompetent on his knowledge, he doesn’t listen to your symptoms or fully understood what medication to give you to make you feel better instead of resolving the issue, he said go to the urgent care! He rushed me and said go to urgent care immediately! No help whatsoever, did not do a good job of explaining the issue or prescribing me the right medication for my soar throat that has yellow and green mucus. Not Recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Lakowsky for the last ten or so years, and they have always been great. From small ailments to major health problems, they’ve always been there for us. Detecting and treating. Dr. Lakowsky is a wonderful doctor, and his staff also. I highly recommend him and his office.

I saw Dr. Alexander Lakowsky online instead of going to an urgent care. I had bronchitis symptoms that the rest of my family had already had. I told him that my Mom had been given antibiotics and started improving within a couple of days. Dr. Lakowsky told me I had a viral infection and antibiotics would not help me. He told me would give me a medication that would relieve my symptoms and I would be better within a few days. Bronchitis can be bacterial if you’re coughing up colored sputum. I was exhausted and didn’t think to tell him that I was coughing up yellow sputum, and he never asked. His idea of helping me was to tell me to use a humidifier and stand in the bathroom with the shower going for warm humidity. At the pharmacy, I discovered he prescribed a cough suppressant pill. Well, that was worthless. So I got zero help from this doctor. Oh, except to stand in the bathroom with the shower running. (insert eye roll) It was a complete waste of time and money.

Saw the Dr. online this morning for back spasms due to COVID. He listened to my description and prescribed a muscle relaxer to help. Easy to talk to and very efficient.

I explained that I had bronchitis symptoms that had been passed around my family and now it was my turn to get sick. My Mom had been given antibiotics and started improving within a couple of days. Instead he said he would prescribe a medication that would relieve my symptoms and I would be better within a few days. Bronchitis can be viral or bacterial, if coughing up colored sputum. He never asked if I was coughing up anything, which I was. I was exhausted and didn't think to tell him that at the time. I was skeptical, but he refused to budge and only told me to use a room humidifier and stand in the bathroom with the shower going for warm humidity/mist to help. When I got to the pharmacy, I discovered he prescribed a cough suppressant pill. Pfft, that was worthless. So I got zero help from this doctor. It was a complete waste of time and money. I will be asking my insurance for a refund.

He's not on top of his game anymore. Maybe burnt out
