Andra Batlin's Online Review Report Card

My mom called Dr Batlins office this morning.  Shes  calling to make an appointment as a new patient, The RECEPTIONIST that answer the call has the worst customer service etiquette.ever.  She was told that my mom should know the doctors schedule and they dont do it this way . My mom is so confused and did not understand what she meant by that. How can she expect a patient to know the doctors schedule if we have not even saw her yet! she was told Dr. Batlins next available appointment is not until April. I can go on and on. My mom is an 80 years old and the receptionist should not talk to anybody this way, she should be written up!!!I work for Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, if Dr Batlin is part of Sutter, would like to get this address. Im sure someone is checking Yelp reviews. Or I can also do a MIDAS report.Im sure the providers are nice and great, but if we have a PSR (receptionist) that is rude and had no idea what customer service is. that makes the office looks bad. A little compassion goes a long way, youre talking to an elderly patients and patients that are not feeling well. Be nice.....

I see Dr. Batlin and sometimes her partner Dr. Lakowsky for primary care issues. They usually get me in quickly, help me schedule specialist appointments, and follow up on anything that needs to be done. When I have even mildly concerning results, Dr. Batlin often calls me herself. Im really happy to be part of their patient pool. I find they are very busy, so sometimes calling can be difficult (you need to be prepared to hold) thats probably because they take care of their patients with personal detail.

I have been a patient of hers for over two years as she was highly recommend from friends who are her patients. When I met her she was very nice and explains your results in details. I thought I finally met a doctor who finally cares about her patients but little did I know you only see her for yearly visits. Forget it if you need to make an appointment with her she is never able to see you. When you call to say you are ill the first thing they say is Dr. Batlin cannot see you so you have to see Dr. Lakowsky. This has been happening more and more that you have to see Dr. Lakowsky if you are ill and not Dr. Batlin. Why do only see her when you have your yearly checkup with her no other time. Dr. Batlin should tell her patients that she will not see you if you are ill as Dr. Lakowsky see her patients if illness arises. I am very disappointed in Dr. Batlin that when I am ill I have to see another doctor other then her.

I have been going to Dr Batlin for 10 years .She is highly qualified and intuitive .She treats the whole person . I feel like she is an advocate for my health !!

This is specifically to the person who was working in the desk this morning, I work for an assisted living so im calling for one of our patients. I called first and this lady said to hold, so I was waiting and waiting for 7 mins, but I received a call for me to check one of my patients so I hang up and was trying to see my patient first but my coworker said she got it. I called for the second time and SAME LADY said Were short staffed, I understand your call is important. i told her I only have a quick question and she ignored me and had the guts to ask if I want to hold or a call back. I told her I want a call back ( BECAUSE I DONT JUST SIT IN MY DESK TO BE ON HOLD I HAVE TO DO MY JOB TOO) this rude lady had the balls to tell me youre going to hold. I am not going to hold I left a message on the MAs voicemail and was done. Please stop hiring rude people who are not happy with their jobs I was once a patient services rep for doctors and never did I treat my patients or anyone like how I was treated.

I am very happy with Dr. Batlin. She takes her time and is very thorough when you see her. She takes her time and answers whatever questions you may have. The only thing is, it is very difficult to get an appt with her. I tried to make one recently & she didnt have an availability until July, (its only March).

Everyone in her office is great.  Dr. Batlin is sooo good with you and amazing at diagnosing issues.  It is important not just for the doctor to be compassionate, but the staff and these people totally are.  Yes it is hard to get an appointment, but she will be in contact with you at all times.

Why would you say you are accepting new patients and not be able to give them an appointment until February of next year? This is August 1st!
