List of Anne Thai's Reviews
Dr. Thai is extremely thorough, caring and listens well - not all doctors do! I highly recommend, Dr. Thai.
We really regret to see this doctor, as it is a huge delay to find out the cancer for a few months. We saw this doctor in Jan and finally diagnosed the cancer by another doctor in June......
I am afraid to see this doctor now. I went to Anne Thai for preventive colonoscopy, and she over billed patient by requiring to have pre-procedure visit and after procedure-visit so the two more bills showed up in additional to the actual procedure.
If you are considering contacting the Dr. Anne. Please do avoid talking to Rachelle who is the most irresponsible assistant / staff I’ve ever met in my whole life. Be careful that she will be your boss whenever you ask for instructions as a patient. She will be only answering yes or no or even blame you if you didn’t understand. That’s how she replies to me : it’s your fault when I asking a specific question. OMG, how could a person do this to a patient. Will never go there and would like share this with you.
One of the best acupuncturist I have ever experienced in my lifetime (and, I'm 71).. her knowledge of Chi energy is spot on, and you will feel results after you leave her clinic.Highly recommended!
Dr Thai is the best Gastroenterologist I have ever had. She is pleasant, thoughtful and knowledgable.Highly recommended.
I have had 2 colonoscopies with Dr. Anne Thai. The first time was about 6 years ago and all went well. The Surgery took place in San Mateo not the surgery center that she is part owner of today.I have allergic reaction to some anesthesia and versed in particular. There is something they can add to the IV to counteract the negative affects of feeling like you are jumping out of your skin and vomiting. I had a pleasant pre-surgery appointment and tried her suggestions. One really helped my constipation. (Magnesium) MOM tablets. Walmart $4.95. Easy. The surgery went well and I was awake through most of it but could not feel a thing. I have my records and know exactly what was used. Feel asleep when I arrived home and woke up 5 hours later. Felt fine. Had a nice Salmon Diner when I woke up.Second time was three years later. WORST support staff ever. They cancelled my pre-op appointment and did not reschedule me. I went down in person on my day off to a packed waiting room and the tall blonde 40 or so refused to schedule me. What?? The reason for the cancellation was that Dr. Thai was busy that day and would not be in the office. OK, so why no reschedule. I asked politely and left because I had faith in Dr. Thai.Day of surgery, Dr. Thai greeted me and I brought up the anesthesia issue. She did not realize I did not have a pre-op appointment and apologized. She would not use the same drugs and I told her I get very agitated and nervous versed etc. She said she had something that would not make me nervous.Unfortunately, I did have a reaction. That that type of an anesthesia makes me want to drink to come down and stop being nervous. Luckily, I had 2 mg valium in the house and took some to calm down. I overpaid between copay at Surgery Center. I had all the paperwork together and contacted the Billing Service. The office in Burlingame does not help with that at all. The billing person agreed they are bitchy in her office. My word. Stuck up, power hungry, unprofessional or all of the above.I knew they were bitchy but now I know it was not only myself as a patient but a working professional that helps with Dr. Thai billing.I have no problem with Dr. Thai other than not using the original anesthesia that worked so long the first time. She is an excellent surgeon. Her support staff is another story. If there is a next time, I am not paying anything until the insurance clears and I receive a balance due. I never got my refund. Covid hit a week later.
Don't go here. Uncaring. Unless you like doctors that are Not patient oriented.
Dr Thai a wonderful and caring physician. Found answers for my GI problems. I appreciate dr Thai and her staff
Was so nervous about having a colonoscopy but Dr. Thai made me feel so comfortable. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. Made multiple calls to the office and probably was a nuisance due to my many questions each time I called, but her staff was super amazing as well. Don't hesitate - make your own appointment!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
