Dr. Edward Koo has been my ophthalmologist for several years now and has always provided excellent service. He is very personable and professional and always happy to answer any of my questions. Dr. Koo recently removed my cataract and did a fantastic job! He took time in between to check on me and make sure I was free of any discomfort. He also made a follow up call to me the evening following my surgery and a post-op visit the day following the surgery. Thanks to Dr. Koo my vision is restored to 20/20. I will not ever hesitate to highly recommend him to friends and family. He cares for his patients in a big way and provides service like no other.

Dr. Koo removed my cataracts. He was professional, informative and he allowed me to make decisions regarding my own care. He was extremely efficient and my vision has been corrected to 20/20. I could not be more satisfied. I now recommend him to all my friends and family who need cataract surgery.

My mother has Alzheimer's which basically makes it hard for her to sit through doctor’s examinations. Dr. Koo first of all has one of the best bedside manners I've seen, second of all he knew exactly how to handle my incredibly nervous mother. It turns out my mother was so nervous she was shaking & couldn't stop. Dr. Koo accomodated this, did a very thorough exam and made recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. His office staff was also very kind and patient when rooming my mother.

Extremely professional, Dr. Koo did a fantastic job on my cataract surgery in both eyes! I opted to pay extra for the multifocal implants and couldn’t be happier. It’s nice to finally not wear glasses after a lifetime of needing them.

I had cataract surgery earlier this year with Dr. Koo. After wearing contact lenses for over 35 years, my eye sight is now perfect! Dr. Koo is the best eye surgeon on the Peninsula!

Dr. Koo made sure I was well-informed about the risks and trade-offs of cataract surgery, and I was well & efficiently taken care over. After recovery I am now back to my pre-surgery vision, but without glasses! Very happy with the experience & the results. He has amazing staff as well, which is rare in these pandemic days.

From my first appointment I sensed professionalism and a friendly environment. So after my first visit I immediately decided to give it a shot and try to make my life little better , and few weeks later I scheduled my cataract surgery with the special trifocal lens and now my life has been changed in a such a positive way that I can't believe it took me all these years to decide before seeing a doctor .
