William Glatt's Online Review Report Card

Lets be honest here: were in the opioid crisis because of pain management doctors like the Glatt Dynasty. I found Williams manner refreshing and helpful at first. But when I told them that I am having lots of dental problems with the orally disintegrating medication, William and Andrew readily switched me to addictive opioids and increased my dosage every time my body got used to the dosage they prescribed. At some point William casually asked: didnt you say that you cant tolerate [the non opioid medicine]? Turned out, he confused me with another patient and kept increasing my opioid dosages because of that. Meanwhile years had gone by, I got used to some heavy duty drugs. Now Andrew keeps recommending that I go into cold turkey detox in the hospital. Im taking it slow.Im sure William gets excellent reviews because he prescribes any drugs his patients ask for. The reviews will continue being wonderful as long as patients keep getting their prescriptions and William and sons continue servicing their heavily dependent client list.

Dr. William Glatt is just an excellent doctor and kind human being, A+ on both counts. I came to him after multiple back surgeries and have found him compassionate and wise in his advice. Glad I found him and would recommend him to my best friend.

Simply put, Dr. William Glatt is a wonderful doctor and human being. He gives excellent advice, is compassionate and seems to have a special knack for seeing the bigger picture when it comes to helping me manage my health care concerns and overall happiness. The staff there has always been good to me as well.

He is one of a kind and I have been seeing him for years.  The staff also are like family.LOVE love them all:Hazel, Heidi, Millie, Eleanor, Nancy,  StacieAnn Strain PA is a Dream,.  Always on time, encouraging and thorough,  They all are the best!!

Dr. William Glatt was and is the best physican I have ever had!  He first met me when I was in detox for oxycotin.  When I was 21 I was diagnosed with lymphoma and a tumor in my leg had damaged my sciatic nerve, along with my femur causing chronic pain.  UCSFs Pain Clinic doctors solution were to slowly increase my dose of pain meds until I was strung out on one of the highest doses of oxy the detox center had ever seen!  When I met Dr. Glatt I was depressed, sucidal, at the end of my rope...he truly saved me.  He was kind and full of compassion.  He knew I could get off the pain meds and I did.  Every time I saw him he encouraged me to go back to school and do more with my life. He really cares about his patients.One negative note.  Now that he has retired I am moving on.  His sons are nice, but the front desk staff is as the negative reviews have described.  Rude, and treat you as if you are bothering them if you have the slightest issue (even a mistake caused by the doctor)!  So, I advise going elsewhere until new staff is found.  I just wanted to write this review as a thank you to him for all the good he has done for me and for others.

i met dr. bill in the hospital. visited me every day [the other dr. was on vacation] i got lucky. bill not only was helpful, he gave me some good advise which i followed. frankly, i do have more than my share of health issues. most doctors dont like treating people like me. i am a veteran and a business owner and attempt to remain active in community affairs [grand juror]. and im still stumble around at the gym. but i know my time is limited so i have promised myself that i with gods help will do my best to stay positive, greatful and helpful to others. this means giving credit where credit is due. thank you dr. bill.  respectfully, don bakerp.s. the crew is great [and tough] expect these guys to call you on your ... manure

I adore Dr. Glatt. Hes always been the kindest person to me, and helps me out every single time I need. Its the women who answer the phone that make this place a nightmare! Its like Im inconveniencing them and I can almost see their eyes rolling when I call. I dread everytime I have to speak to anyone about anything which is upsetting. I pay this practice lots of money too :(

First I want to say that Eleanor in his office is fantastic.  I needed immediate care, and I was told he was the best, & his Dad, also a Doctor, was also good for my issue.  They were completely booked, but she created a miracle and I got in.  Dr. Glatt initially helped me, though he was curt & perfunctory, and to be fair, I was sensitive.  But really, he never warmed his voice...very clinical.  No bedside manner at all.  I even asked him if I was irritating him, which of course he said I did not.  Well, I wasnt having  lunch with him, and if hes the best... who cares & I got over it.  In order to get my particular treatments, He said I needed to pay in advance.  I wanted to get better & I did.  He told me to call him anytime at all.  No limitation.  OK so farI continued to get better and didnt need to call him before our next appointment.  Same weird curt attitude, but he gave me lots of time.   And I got even better yet!  So I asked if I could redo my agreement, and use less sessions and spend less money.  Eleanor told me that isnt the policy & I could get a refund, but I couldnt see him anymore for my particular medical issue.   Weird, but fair enough.  Its his business & he can run it however he wants, of course.  But that hurt. In that call with Eleanor, I pressed a bit further.  She suggested I discuss it with the Doctor himself and said hed call me  Well, this is where the two stars comes in.   He did try once, I called him back.. over days I called again.  And one more time.  He never called me.  This is a big deal.  I said in messages that I really needed to talk with him, but it certainly feels  as if he is  more about finances than compassion.   Im so bummed out about it, as I hold a higher standard for medical practitioners.  Eleanor is in the process of refunding my advance to me, though her amount differs from mine.  I feel confident that well come to the correct number and she will handle it.

I have always felt and continue to feel that this office is excetionally supportive and pleasant.  Moreover, Dr W Glatt could not be a more caring doctor with whom I am eternally pleased.  Heidi is also very nice and helpful.This is one doctor I shall never gravitate away from.

The ENTIRE staff here, each and every one, is TERRIFIC!I have been a patient for many years, from the old office to now.  No matter how busy they are, they always have time for a patient.  Each phone call is answered.  Every request is fulfilled.  Patients put very high demands on this staff daily, and they meet them with kindness and grace every time.  I have never been let down by Dr. Glatt, Ann Strain, PAC, or any of the staff.I will be a patient for as long as they are open!!!
