My mother is a resident of Alma Via and the staff are wonderful and treat her special and take great care of her. My mom loves her home their and we feel secure knowing she’s safe and well taken care of. The staff are friendly, caring and sincere.

Friends I know are happy there.

Terrible place to work. They lie about salary and benefits they try to cheat you in any way possible. My three-year-old nephew knows more about cooking than the culinary director there, who's main goal is to try to date one of the servers that glitter far too young for him. I honestly wouldn't recommend working here to my worst enemy.

I think that AlmaVia is one of the most outstanding assisted living and memory care facility’s in the Ventura county area. If your looking for a place to call home for yourself or a loved one we have an array of services and we have a top notch team of caring individuals to assist you. I lost my mom in January 2017 and I was lost. A friend saw me struggling and reached out and offered me a new start so I packed up a uhaul and towed my car and I moved back to my hometown Thousand Oaks California. I needed a purpose a reason to wanna get up everyday. After working and interacting here at AlmaVia Of Camarillo I can honestly say the employees here all work really hard everyday to tend to the needs of the community. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity. The residents are a hoot and have taught me a lot in the last 8 weeks I am thankful to have found a place where I feel valued and I like having a purpose once again. The whole AlmaVia Family lives by its core value and at the end of the day it’s nice to know you touched someone in a special way and that’s worth so much. Thank you Yesenia for being such and awesome teammate, I enjoy working with you.

When I was first introduced to AlmaVia of Camarillo, I was a private caregiver for one of the residents. Being someone from the outside, it was amazing to see how the AlmaVia employees were invested in making sure their residents were well taken care of from activities, meals, to their care needs. Once there was an opportunity to join their team, AlmaVia welcomed me with open arms. The resident I was caring for at the time supported me with my decision and wanted me to be successful with AlmaVia. I’ve been part of AlmaVia for a little bit over 3 years and grateful for all the opportunities they have provided me. Still to this day, AlmaVia continues to support me to thrive as an individual and to continue to achieve my goals. As an employee, I am proud to represent AlmaVia of Camarillo. Everyday, the AlmaVia team flourishes in fulfilling the 6 core values we believe in, learning, caring, dignity, excellence, prudent stewardship, and collaboration. Not only do the employees support and care for the residents, but also we have become one big family. I honestly believe being part of the AlmaVia family is a blessing.

We moved both my parents to Alma Via in November of 2014. Mom to memory care. Dad to assisted living. It's was the best decision we could have made for them. I toured all the facilities in the area at the time and ALMA via was the best choice for them. They made new friends and discovered old friends that they had made over the years living there or have moved in since. There is always an event to attend. Mom's favorite activity was the music. Tuesday's with Bill was her favorite day. It's a community. I go see dad at least 3 times a week but I see more than just dad. I have made many friends there and enjoy stopping to chat with everyone. The staff is friendly and courteous always willing to help. They participate yearly raising funds for Alzheimer's walk and staff walks the event too I have no worries. I know dad is in good hands.
