Joshua Ely's Online Review Report Card

Although he did my surgery in Newbury Park and my daughter's in Westlake Village, I only found this location to write. He is an excellent doctor. He really knows what he is doing. He extracted a decayed tooth which was completely smashed inside then 6 months later my daughter's 4 wisdom teeth. We went to see many doctors and all made a big deal about it and wanted to do a panoramic CT because it was touching the sinus etc so they could make more money out of you and Dr. Ely saw my daughters through X-tray and naturally understood the sinus but it wasn't a big deal, he only use CT scan in the last circumstances due the radiation. My daughter was afraid because he was not expensive and I said, "Do you want a better reference than mine?" He is an amazing professional. He is polite and very kind.

Had a hard time finding an oral surgeon that I trusted my daughter with. Dr Ely was very calm and confident. She did great, no swelling and not much pain either. Staff was great too.

Dr. Ely has is compassionate, has excellent bedside manner & is very gentle & skilled at performing procedures. I highly recommend him, and will be directing all of my family & friends in need of his oral surgery expertise!

I was so scared to have my wisdom teeth out!! Dr Ely took them out without any problems, I healed so fast.

I was stuck with an extremely painful cavity last week. Dr Joshua immediately took me in and took care of it. The procedure was painless and seamless. I highly recommend Dr Joshua!!!

I had an appointment for 8 teeth extraction and was very anxious - I was expecting a consultation with Dr. Ely to go over the procedure in details. I never met the dentist before, so when a guy walked in w/out a nametag, I asked "Are you the dentist?" He must have thought it was an insult or something. I told him I was very nervous about the procedure and the very next second, he LEFT THE ROOM!!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea what was going on. When I asked the receptionist all she said was "He said to find you a referral" I requested a refund of my payment to my debit card, was assured it would be processed w/in 24 hours. It was not! I have no idea where this dentist got his degree from, but he needs to go back to school and learn some MANNERS - Patient communication - we're all not just a PAY CHECK to this "independent contractor" If your dentist refers you for oral surgery to this creep.. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
