List of Larissa Larsen's Reviews
She was good, precise and efficient. I had one issue that remained unresolved, but it doesn't matter because she is no longer at this office and nobody there will say where she went. Her replacement I found to be even more precise, efficient and knowledgeable, and she has a similar helpful, friendly vibe.
I just heard dr Larsen is no longer with the practice. Does anyone know where she ended up ??
I was very happy to have found Dr. Larissa Larsen. She was not rushed, thoroughly discussed my skin issues, and patiently offered good advice. Several dermatologists I've had in the past lacked these qualities and pushed cosmetic procedures above anything else. The front office staff was very helpful as well.
She was pretty weird and unprofessional in her demeanor and communication. She acted like a mide-aged teenager who thought she was being cute and cool which made her seem like an idiot. I felt so sorry for the support staff.
Dr. Larsen helped me after diagnosing me with alopecia. From my first appointment, she made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She takes her time and does not make you feel rushed in any way, if anything she asks if you have any questions or concerns about anything else. She was also very patient (I had my baby with me that day). I was stressed because I didn't know if my hair would grow back. The initial medication wasn't working, so without hesitation she recommended an alternative. Within a few weeks, my hair started growing back! I had several visits with her once a month for a few months. Almost of the spots where my hair was gone and thinning have fully grown back. Thank you! I would definitely recommend Dr. Larsen, you won't regret it!
My daughter and I had an excellent experience. I highly recommend this office.
Awful service. Do Not waste your time making an appt here. Made an appt and drove wuite a ways in traffic and they wouldn't even see me after months wait to get the appt, since they didn't accept my insurance. When my appt was made they took my insurance and said they did and accepted my insurance to make the appt! they confirmed my appt also. No phone call nothing to tell me they dont accept it. I showed up to them telling me they wouldnt even accept cash pay becuase I had insurance that they don't take. Not Ok! their time is worth so much, but their patients isnt?
I called today after being a patient of Dr. Larsen's for 3 years. I was told that the next appointment was on Thanksgiving. I asked about a call list and was told "it is very long". I told the person I'd had skin cancer and I needed to see the doctor. She said, sorry, that's the best I can do... If I w, it will be a big rush if it's malignant as the last two were.
Larissa Larsen went out of her way to help me out today, and it is a rare thing to see these days. She was amazing and took care of me in record time with the best attitude and staff I have seen in a long time. Getting a cancerous tumor FINALLY cut out by a real specialist feels so good and worth the drive... (SMILE) Maybe I should LEAVE OJAI more often... (HUGE SMILE)
Great dermatologist I’ve been going to her since she started practicing in Camarillo a short while ago. I’ve had an eczema problem for years that was being treated with Kenalog injections. They became ineffective after years of use leaving me with a terrible redness and itch that wouldn’t go away. Dr. Larson prescribed an injectable medication to be taken twice a month that was very expensive and my insurance initially would not cover it. Dr. Larson wrote the insurance company explaining that all other avenues have been tried and didn’t work. Through her and her office’s diligence the insurance agreed to cover the medication. I’ve been taking the medication for 4 months and the redness and itch are gone. This doctor knows her business well and I highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
