If you want a knowledgable, caring, compassionate, friendly internal medicine doctor, you should try to get an appointment with Dr. Connie Burgeson. In my opinion, she's the best physician in the Cameron Park area!

Dr. Burgeson is by far the best doctor I ever had. Location is the only reason why she isn't my doctor anymore. She is my definition of a real doctor, because she was always more concerned with helping me than doing the insurance company's bidding. So many doctors seem jaded these days. Dr. Burgeson certainly did not. She gave me compassionate care, which I needed at the time.

Dr. Burgeson has gone above and beyond what most doctors would today in making sure that my 91 year old grandmother was getting the care she needed. Dr. Burgenson has been very caring and concerned for my grandmother and helped the family facilitate the necessary care.

Dr. Burgeson was extremely unprofessional, I expressed a few concerns to her over the Zika virus and watched her Google about it because she had no idea what it was. I expressed concern about my costochondritis which she brushed off as so big deal and provided me no remedies just said well no one ever died from it. I also expressed concern about my thyroid as a previous doctor suggested I get it check, she did not even check it and said You're fine don't worry about it. Changing doctors ASAP

She doesn't seem like she is getting you out of her office. She listens and suggests when you are in disagreement about a medication and see if there is another way to do it that doesn't make you uncomfortable. She tells you like it is in a pleasant professional manner. She does have a great bedside/office interaction. I have had great results in my care with her.

Very difficult to get appointment, office staff was rude, appeared bothered by the intrusion of a patient. She focused on general medial history ignoring the reason for my visit until I redirected her. I had to make multiple calls over several days to receive the results of my test, when she finally called she quickly scanned results using clinical language, it was unclear what the real issue was - left me with zero confidence that her recommendation for treating the issue was valid.
