He may have just been having a bad day, but Dr. Redor was disrespectful, if not condescending towards me during a consultation today. After being "corrected" twice in a curt manner, I decided I didn't want to work with him and walked out of his office. It's not so much what he said, but the manner in which he said it. Sadly, he probably has no clue as to why I left. This type of behavior gives the medical industry a poor reputation.

Dr Redor preformed my colonoscopy and took the time to discuss my medical history and the procedure beforehand then explained the results after the procedure. He was personable and showed a genuine interest in my health. I would highly recommend him.
In 2011, appointment with elderly mom. I was hoping for treatment options. He wanted to prescribe Humira, an injectable med at a cost of $10,000 /mth! It was not covered by ins. He said it would take at least three months to learn if it would be effective, and while on it, she would have a reduced immune system. I asked for other options and he said there weren't any. So, $30K with no assurance it would work and no alternatives, and while on it she could contract an illness?
Late, office staff sent me opposite direction but said it's ok. It wasn't! All forms done. Still, what are you here for? Watching the clock behind me. Gave me info new to me on long time med. New diagnosis; try fiber or see a Colorectal Surgeon. Couldn't tell me how to taper GI med. No empathy. In a hurry. Would have prefer reschedule. I was very nervous; tearful. Office Mgr interceded till he ask for her; she showed me out back way. No stars! No recommendation. Warning.
Office is run like a cattle call with no flexibility. I went to wrong office and attempted to contact Dr. office by phone to get correct location but had to endure a very long message with multiple options. I left a message asking for the correct location followed by a message that they would get back with me within 24 hours. A few minutes later I did receive the call and the location was just across the parking lot. I arrived 5 minutes late for my scheduled appointment, then told that I would have to wait at least 20 minutes to be seen. I waited then got called to the desk and was told that I would have to wait until all other patients were seen before Dr. Redor would see me. Very poor communication and process since I was then told that the doctor had appointments scheduled 15 minutes apart and did not deviate from this schedule. Obviously the 3:15pm apt was moved to my 3pm slot so why I could not take the 3:15pm appointment was quite surprising to me. As an RN, I do not wish for any physician with this type of attitude to perform a procedure on me. I am now attempting to get my records sent to another gastroenterologist and it is a real hassle to get through their phone tree to actually speak to someone. My advice is to go elsewhere.
I have been a patient of Dr. Redor for years the staff and Dr. Redor have always been professional, courteous and well informed giving me information regarding my diagnosis and follow up. I would recommend this office and Dr. Redor to everyone.
The best of the best, finally a Dr without his eyes balls stuck to his computer or his watch! Efficient, not only he listen to you, but he also, ask the pertinent questions in order to understand the situation. I wish, all our Dr will be alike him.
Very easy to work with; very helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Redor in my opinion has no regard for the suffering of his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
