I’m so glad that i was referred to Dr Dessouki by my general ophthalmologist 2 1/2 years ago. Thanks to his expertise and thoroughness he has successfully treated my eyes for central serous retinopathy! I am now free of any worrisome symptoms! His bedside manners are excellent! He is very friendly and patient. He explains the diagnosis and necessary treatment in understandable terms! He always emphasizes that if I would experience anything unusual I should call him immediately! I feel to be in caring and good hands! The friendliness and competence of his staff deserves also the highest ratings!

Dr. Dessouki took care of my eye after problems after cataract surgery (performed by other doctor). I had pain, loss of vision and very high eye pressure and Dr. Dessouki dealt with it very well, with knowledge and needed urgency. I had impression that he is very meticulous and precise. He followed up carefully with my progress and saw me several times including on a very short notice.Dr. Desoukki's office is well organized and well managed, it is easy to contact them, get response and appointment. Dr. Dessouki is very professional and patient. Helpful in letting you know what is going to be done and the aftercare is very thorough. His team is kind and caring, before, during and after the surgery.

I have never had a worse doctor give me an eye injection. My regular doctor was unavailable. Dr. Dessouki was ready to give me the injection. I advised him that I need a lot of numbing...I go through it quickly. When I told him that, he got a mean face, sprayed each eye, it sprayed on my face and it stung in My eye. Before I had a chance to say anything, he got this obstinate look and said "I'm almost done, then stabbed the needle in my eye with no numbing. I complained and a manager, said, "the doctors all do it differently. I said, the doctor gives these injections to older people. If it was my mom, I'd be more than livid. I stood up for the older patients. Noone should ever get a shot without numbing. If you ever get Dr. Dessouki, run away as fast as you can. I will never ever recommend this uncaring, no compassion, cocky, insanely arrogant. DON'T EVER SEE DR. DESSOUKI!!!

Dr. Dessouki is a thoughtful and kind professional. He spends appropriate time with me, answering questions and monitoring my eye care. I feel that he provides me with trustworthy recommendations, evaluating my present condition and avoiding unnecessary medical procedures. I value his care and would recommend his services to others.

I was referred by Dr Saab to Dr Dessouki because of my retina problem on both eyes. I have been seen him for almost a year, and he performed two surgeries on my eyes. Both surgeries went very well and my eye sights got recovered to 20/20 vision today. Very appreciated his patience and excellent surgery skill to help me to improve my eye sights. Talking to Dr Dessouki was a a very pleasant feelings.

I went to Dr Dessouki before doing Lasik surgery. The people at the Lasik place had told me I was a good candidate but Dr Dessouki found that I had retinal detachment. We scheduled a visit where he took care of that and advised me to do laser PRK which is a more conservative approach. Dr Dessouki also referred me to a great Lasik/PRK doctor at Stanford and I had a very successful surgery. Throughout this time Dr Dessouki took the time to discuss my options and to guide me through the process.

Dr. Dessouki spent a great deal of time examining and testing my eye problem. He was very thorough and concerned. I appreciated his excellent care.

At 9/6/2014, Dr. Dessouki did vitro-retinal surgery for me. At the that time my right eye vision only 10% percent left due to serious retinal torn, I didn’t know who he is and he even fight for a surgery bed for me at a timely base. after surgery, he continued to follow up my progress till I fully recovered. He is a very skillful, experienced, and knowledgeable doctor. I continued to visit him for annually check up. I am grateful to his great efforts in taking care of my eyes.
