List of Campbell Physical Therapy And Sports Care's Reviews
TLDR: Do not go here. You have been warned. My experience with Chris Ota was extremely disappointing. Starting from the first appointment, he was very rough with my arm. Less than two weeks after my second shoulder, he pulled my arm overhead very quickly without warning, claiming we needed to “break up scar tissue”. This was insanely painful, and was completely against the PT protocol for my surgery. He also tried getting me doing active range of motion exercises (arm bike, banded rows) less than two weeks post-op. He did not follow the protocol for Bankart Labrum Repair. Seems like he was doing his own thing. He never asked for my medical records or details of my surgery. On the second appointment, while doing passive range of motion movement with a pulley, he just came over and jerked my shoulder upwards. This caused a ton of pain and inflammation. Chris was very rough with my shoulder and insisted that we needed to make sure I was "on track" and had to "break up scar tissue," which made no sense given my recovery stage. In my opinion, he lacks knowledge of proper shoulder surgery rehab protocols and he will destroy your shoulder after surgery.
Chris Ota and the team are great! Everyone is caring and dedicated to your long term well-being. I've had lower back and shoulder issues and Chris has treated me for meniscus tears in both knees too. My doctors are with Stanford and it's a little drive for me but it's worth it. I highly recommend them.
I highly recommend physical therapist, Gurjit Gill at Campbell Physical Therapy. I've had therapy with him for two different issues (knee pain & lower back pain). He is very knowledgeable and thorough and really listens when I tell him the issues. My lower back pain took a while to improve but he encouraged me not to give up and finally I turned the corner and am able to do all the things I used to without pain. Everyone there is very professional and kind and work as a team to help the patients achieve their goals.
Excellent clean facility. They set clear fitness goals for my condition. My physical therapist, Gurjit, is always committed to making the most of my time during each and every therapy session. He is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the different treatment techniques needed to insure improvement and pain management. They have all the equipment needed to facilitate my recovery. I have seen a vast improvement in the short time I have been going. The entire staff is amazing! I would highly recommend them for any of your physical therapy needs!
I can’t thank Siddhi Shah enough for the special care she and her staff provided me. I really appreciated that she patiently evaluated my problems, answered my questions and provided appropriate exercises for my right arm. Honestly, I never thought with PT the pain will go away, but under her care I found out I m wrong.
All the staff has been great and very helpful. I especially apprecuated that they ask questions on how and what is going on with me and adjust what they are doing. I had never had PT before so wasn't sure what to expect. They are always timely and friendly. They have helped me a great deal with my medical issue.
My mom, Noushin, been a patient here for 6 months. She is grateful for the help and patience she received from Dr. Shah and team. We recommend this place for anyone who looks for a caring and knowledgeable physical therapy team.
Don't go anywhere else. Now in my 60's and two surgeries within one year I've experienced more physical therapy clinics than I'd like to admit. What I discovered was that they all followed a similar protocol, more like a check list for whatever condition I was in PT for. That is, until I was referred by my orthopedic surgeon who performed my knee replacement to Campbell Physical Therapy. Immediately I started receiving the care of a truly professional therapist, Chris who manipulates my knee and leg with the intention of healing me. He is a true healer, committed to his patients. The practice used neuromuscular stimulation to help repair my leg and laser therapy for wound healing along with therapeutic exercises and hot/cold treatments. When the knee began to get stronger, the neglected attention after my back surgery revealed a structural imbalance in my body, which was causing significant lower back and hip pain. My therapist shifted his attention and expert skills to release scar tissue and muscular issues to release my pain, regain my strength, and mobility. The Therapist assistants are extremely helpful and caring - I can't recommend Campbell Physical Therapy high enough. Thank you all - Sharon
Chris is the best and always resolves my physical therapy issues. I have been going to him for years and he definitely knows his stuff, more so than any other physical therapist I have been to.
First, I want to say that the atmosphere here is wonderful! It will help you heal. I enjoyed the receptionists and the timely appointments. They have a well-crafted machine, and I totally recommend this for someone who already has a diagnosis and needs to heal. Here's my sticking point. The physical therapists are new to the practice - most of them. They haven't been practicing for very long. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who needs a diagnosis of a ailment. Or needs to rehab from something complicated. If you want a place to heal and you know you need ice and stem from an aid - not a knowledge PT - Then do this. Otherwise go to someone else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
