Elizabeth Adie's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Adie does not listen to her patients, walks around like a sleep-deprived zombie, and does not have the expertise to make decisions regarding complicated care in a well-planned manner. Find another doctor.

Elizabeth Adie completely ignores her patient's wishes. If you want a successful pregnancy, DO NOT see this woman. She is like a zombie, half asleep all the time from working 24 hour shifts, and it shows in her work. Never trust this woman with your body.

If you want your baby to live, stay away from this woman. She is only interested in expensive procedures with high insurance pay outs. She does not listen to her patients and does things regardless of their wishes to ensure she gets paid out.

Dr. Adie is competent and professional. However, I paid a large sum of money for Mona LIsa Treatments that did not work for me. Dr. Adie was sympathetic and apologetic but my request for a refund was met with a token refund which did not begin to make up the investment I made for almost no improvement. Be advised that this treatment does not work for everyone and do your research before committing. Insurance does not cover at all!

Dr. Adie is negligent when it comes to dealing with insurance and a patient's finances. I had lab work that was sent to an outside provider without my knowledge or consent. This was not covered by my insurance and I was left financially liable despite my attempts to work with her and the office staff. They were dismissive and sent me in circles. She has also cryptically called me in for an appointment (and I'm thinking uh-oh something is wrong)...and then she meets for literally 1 minute to say "yeah, we tested and everything is ok". That will be $50 please! Um. Can't this be done by phone without me having to take work off and chip away at my deductible? Honestly, based on interactions I've had with her, I wouldn't say that she seems particularly experienced or intelligent. I would probably trust her to cut my hair (if she ever decided to change career paths), but not manage my reproductive health.

Dr. Adie has been my Dr. for the last 6 years and she is wonderful. I was bleeding heavily and even the emergency room in Gilroy could not figure out why and sent me home. The next day I saw Dr. Adie and she identified a cervical polyp immediately and removed it which stopped the bleeding. She also cared for me during my pregnancy. She was so great at keeping me calm during my delivery, taking the time to explain and talk to me to ease my anxiety. I have a healthy 16 month old and am so thankful for Dr. Adie. She made me feel like family during my visits and always is kind, caring and compasionate. I can't say enough good things! She is a wonderful Dr.

Her bedside manner was terrible. She was rushed. She did not take her time. I do not recomend her and I was so disappointed.

Unfortunately, it totally did not work for me! When I had my second child, Dr. Adie was an on call doctor who delivered my baby. She forgot a ball of gauze inside of me as I had an oozing spot there. I was not checked inside while I was supposed to heal post-delivery, and ended up walking with the ball of gauze full of infection for about a month without knowing what was wrong with me! I did get horrible infection, felt unwell and was bleeding badly, then when I felt the blood becomes blackish and the smell is horrible, I immediately went to see my regular doc., and she was shocked to find out Dr. Adie left the tampon in me and let me go without taking it out. I am happy the infection did not go further. I would look for a different doctor with whom you would feel safe!

Wonderful Doctor! I am a new patient and saw her today! She's easy to talk to, puts your mind at ease and is a real people person. Her knowledge is incredible and she answered every one of my many questions without hesitation. I highly recommend Dr. Adie, especially for women who want someone with compassion and who makes you feel comfortable in every way. Linda L., Gilroy, CA.

Everything was fine till she inquired what I was getting my Master's in. When I told her what I was finishing up in school, she laughed out loud. There I am, lying in let us say, not the least vulnerable position, while getting the yearly exam and she has the audacity to laugh in my face. You could tell I wasn't the happiest at her response and by what must of been a face of horror and she quit abruptly. This just a review of the person, not the exam itself.
