Mary Margaret O'neill's Online Review Report Card

Pregnancy is a very special and beautiful journey or at least it should be. I came here for my first appt and walked out feeling the exact opposite. I wasn't walked through anything that was going on, Dr. O'Niell laughed at me when I wasn't able to answer a question to the best of my knowledge about my birth control, I had an ultrasound done vaginally without any part of the process being broken down or explained. I was told not to get excited because of a positive pregnancy test being that miscarriages are very high. Why wouldn't I get excited? Miscarriages are just as common as healthy pregnancies. She made my first visit feel very scary, she does not show a soft or caring demeanor by any means. I would not recommend if you are looking for a sweet and gentle experience.

Just plain great doctor.  I was experiening pain in my lower groin area and thought I was having a serious infection of the bladder or fallopian tube and got in to see her the next day.  She did an exam and review of my medications and diagnosed the problem in a few minutes.  Due to medications  that  I recently started taking she realized that these medications could cause the bowel to slow down and result in hard to pass stools.  The pain that I was experiencing was due to straining to pass stools. She recommended drinking more fluids, changing the diet etc.,  The pain subsided  from excruciating to barely noticeable within a few days.  Thank You Dr. O'Neil.

Wonderful and very helpful office staff . Front office and medical assistant very friendly and worked to make me feel comfortable. I appreciated the straightforward, yet kind manner that Dr asked me about my past medical history. She also was knowledgeable and answered all my concerns. The office was very clean and I wouldn't hesitate to refer my friends.

Absolutely unprofessional, did not even look at my medical scans that were sent from 3 weeks prior

I have never reviewed someone online previously, but my experience with this doctor several years ago gave me so much anxiety that I still feel the indignity when I think about the experience. I tried Dr. O'Neal after a recommendation from my primary physician. I checked out the address beforehand and found it to be in a little dilapidated house, rather than an office building, which I thought was odd but it didn't throw me off. Neither did the fact that she supposedly might have several large dogs in the waiting room at any given time. Also, a bit odd, but I'm an animal lover, so it might be kind of nice. Anyway, I had my annual exam and during it I asked a question that was somewhat embarrassing for me to ask, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. She answered curtly and disdainfully that no such symptom existed and actually repeated my words under her breath and laughed to herself. I was too embarrassed to pursue it. I didn't respond and just ignored her rudeness and left....never to return again! For someone in the medical profession to be so unprofessional about a patient's concerns, especially in such a personal field as gynecology, is beyond shameful! Because she shamed me by disregarding my question and treating me with such rudeness, it took years for me to bring it up again with another gynecologist who's bedside manner is the polar opposite of Dr. O'Neill's. I had my question answered in a professional, logical manner and I was treated for the "non-existent" condition, which is totally ordinary as it turns out.

Dr. O’Neil is amazing. She was my OBGYN during both my pregnancies and she was AWESOME, Caring and kind. She truly cares about her patients well being and has a lot of knowledge in what she does.

I came by for my annual check up. Of course Dr. O'Neill was there. She is a wonderful obgyn and I am so grateful to have her as my doctor.

Tried to make an appointment because I was new to the area and I was refused treatment. I was in dire need of an obgyn to check on my pregnancy and after originally being told that there were appointments available they decided I was too far along to be a new patient and refused me. The receptionist made up multiple excuses but ultimately decided not to offer me care. So unprofessional and with no explanation. I guess patient care is not the first priority here.

Dr O'Neill is a great doctor. Like my last Obgyn, who I treasured and did not feel I could replace, I wish Mary could just be my general physician. She addresses all the women's health issues but also checks in on the big picture and offers economical options for accessing treatment. She understands what works for me and respects that it has taken me time to get there. She writes up mammograms and other tests so you can get them done anywhere which can save money and keeps me where I am happy.

Dr.Oneil is the absolute best doctor I’ve had 5 of my 8 children with her, and referred my daughter also. Office is warm and inviting and makes you feel right at home. Very thorough and informative
