Mountain Health Family Medicine's Online Review Report Card

This review is based solely on the pediatric office, the mental health office, the labs and the dentist office. We are absolutely happy with the service we have received here. I have 3 kids and they are always treated like they are the most important people in the world. All of the people listed above are thorough with the appts. They never rush through them. They are kind, courteous and pleasant. We are so happy we moved to campo and Mountain Health is a really big reason why we are happy here. Dr. Tran, the dentist and his assistant Miss Linda, they are absolutely amazing. My kids totally love them. What kid will ever say they love their dentist? My kids do, because these people rock! Dr. Hurley, the pediatrician definitely cares about the children's well-being and goes above and beyond to make sure that the kids get the care they need. From Dawn checking temperatures at the front door, and the cleanliness of the whole building, the experience is always perfect.

It takes quite a bit to get me to leave a bad review for a company. This place should be closed down and not allowed to practice medicine. It took my wife 3 MONTHS to get a referral from this place to get a much needed ultrasound for a serious condition she has. Also, I got a herniated disc which I had to go to the ER for. They told me to get with my regular provider (this place) to get a referral to a specialist within 2 days. I only had enough pain meds to make it about a week. I called multiple times and they never answered. I left messages and they never got back to me. I finally ran out of pain meds and was left in agonizing pain because I could never see someone to diagnose me and give me a new prescription. The only way I could have been helped was to go to an urgent care or ER again, but I couldnt even take a long drive into alpine or el cajon in my condition. I could go on and on about how inept this place and their support staff is, but I'd rather not waste more of my time. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I found that the staff who works there is very nice, but unfortunately they are quite terrible at operating a business. It took 3 months, 30+ phone calls and more phone transfers to dead end voicemails that never returned my call than I can count in order to receive a referral. When it got to the point where the referral was finally going to go through, it turns out they gave me a referral for the wrong thing so i had to start the process all over again We are in the process of switching providers to Alpine. Possibly the worst experience I've had with a business in my entire adult life.
