List of MIchael Rovzar's Reviews
Doctor Rovzar was our 3-rd or even 4-th opinion when my husband could not believe his diagnosis and disagreed with procedures offered by other doctors. And guess what: doctor Rovzar was the only doctor who identified my husband's lung conditions tied to a side affect of his heart medication - it is very rare but happens. Since that day we are always back here for his evaluation and advise.
Excellent dr.Knowledgeable and caring
I Like Dr. Rovzar very much but the staff at Paloma Medical Group are awful! Really I've had better experience at the DMV. They allow people to wait for up to an hour at a time with no phone call to let patients know if their doctor is running late. It is an ongoing issue and the staff gives the impression they could not care less. Phoning the office is impossible as well. I am looking for a different physician at this point.
Stay away from this doctor! He grossly misdiagnosed multiple family members. He told one member he had lung cancer when he didn’t! That made getting life insurance quite difficult. He also diagnosed TB when there was no TB forcing a family member into quarantine in the hospital for 4 days. He missed a simple and obvious diagnosis of aspiration pneumonia. He diagnosed me with a bizarre disease, which I do not have. He’s always searching for the most severe diagnosis possible, missing the obvious
I prefer doctors who take the time to find out about my current situation and take time with me. Unfortunately I had the opposite experience with Dr. Rovzar and I am personally very disappointed.
Handled my case in a very professional manner. He asked me tons of questions and he listened to me very carefully. I went to him as a second opinion by my first doctor .I was diagnosed with IPF but it seemed that he needs to do extra blood work and to consult with the radiologist to decide what to do to get to the root cause of my lungs. Which I really appreciate it. Rarely to find such doctor at this level of care and honesty. I feel I m in good hands now. Thanks God I know this Dr now.
This is an excellent, kind, and capable Dr. I have been a patient of his for years for my Asthma. I also took my 85 years old father to him. His breathing has improved a great deal. His front office needs a bit of improvement. But the Dr. is so good, and his treatment so effective, and he is trying to improve his staff, that I would say he is well worth the patience. So have no fear go here!
As I've struggled to breath now for three weeks,I've been in and out of ers trying to get better. I like this Dr. a lot, however I don't want to go back to his office because the wait time is so long and the office is managed poorly. The Dr can only be as good as his staff. This staff is unprofessional from apt. To billing.
I have nothing negative to say about the doctors. Now how the office is run is something else. Patients should receive a courtesy call when the doctor is running behind. My husband is SICK, he should not have to wait one to two hours in the office for his appointment. I asked to speak to the office manager and of course by 4:30, she had already left for the day. Our time is valuable also.
Dr. Rovzar is an amazing doctor! Compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and willing to take whatever time necessary to determine the proper treatment. He is truly in this because he cares and not just for the money. To find a doctor like this is very rare, and I am lucky indeed to have Dr. Rovzar as my pulmonologist. Too bad he cannot be my PCP as well! If you need a pulmonologist--look no further than Dr. Rovzar. You will be highly pleased. His staff is courteous and helpful as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
