Nicholas Abidi's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Abidi is very intelligent. He is an expert in what he does. I trust him to diagnose correctly. He cares about his patients and takes his time to explain his diagnosis clearly. He has seen me for a broken ankle, broken shoulder, torn shoulder labrum and knee problems. He really is amazing and I am always impressed with his knowledge an ability to explain things to me. He is a wonderful example of what a doctor should be.

OrthoNorCal — now called Golden State Orthopedic & Spine — are a very courteous and professional group of healthcare providers. I recommend them to anyone who needs orthopedic care. Dr. Abidi is well known and highly recommended as THE ankle, foot, leg, knee and hip guy in the Santa Cruz area. He’s taking good care of my wife, who broke her leg recently.

I've been cared by Dr. N. ABIDE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS. I have never been disappointed with any office visit, either in Los Gatos or Capitola. He is a believable expert in his field, very knowledgeable, reliable in his diagnosises, and expert in managing patient care with a knowing beyond education, but developed by experience obtained by his hard work and excellence in patient interaction. The best!

My last post surgery appointment after my hip replacement one year ago !Very thankful to Dr. Abidi … I think ,if I didn’t have had this surgery, I probably would be in a wheelchair now ! Thank you Dr. Abidi for a job well done ! So far I have met all my goals … walking , dancing , traveling , gardening , cleaning my home and even going back to work one month after the surgery ! Thank you Dr. Abidi ! JOB WELL DONE!!!

Completely unprofessional service. Whole focus on churning patients one after the other and almost every person advised to get MRI done. Make you come on time of the appointment and then make you wait for hour plus in the room without any update or communication . When you approach the doctor try to push the blame to administrative staff without a word of apology . Every second they want to make money at the cost of your time

My first meeting with Dr Abidi had a long wait time but he was well worth it. He made a quick, decisive read of my knee & ankle condition, using both imagery and hands on. He and his assistant were good at answering my questions and providing some immediate pain relief and a perspective on treatment and possible needed surgery.I have Parkinson’s and this leads to more wear and tear due to tremoring and clumsy gait/walk. My first impressions were excellent and this experienced specialist created reassurance and confidence that I can maintain mobility and decrease the pain in my knee. His explanation and advice inspired confidence. And I walked out the office in better shape than I arrived. Appears to be an excellent doctor… And has wonderful staff particularly Jasmi.
