Victor Li's Online Review Report Card

Something I learned a long time ago as far as doctors goes. A bad bedside manner does not judge how good a doctor is. They can be so focused on the task at hand, that being personable is not the priority. Quality medical care is the priority! My experience with Dr. Li is this… my first visit was very short and to the point. My procedure he was kind, but very focused, and he did his job very professionally and successfully. I would say this if you would like quality medical care, Dr Li is an excellent choice. If you’re looking for a buddy to be nice to you and make you feel good about yourself,, maybe a counselor is what you are looking for? Yes… it is nice to get both but if one must go, I will keep the professionalism in medical care way over the how nice they are to me. Thank You Dr. Li.

I can't speak for Dr. Li, but his office staff is wholly incompetent, rude, unprofessional, and impossible to communicate with if you can even get them to answer the phone. What does that say about the doctor who employs them? Dr. Li's physician's assistant botched a cortisone shot--she couldn't figure out the appropriate place to administer it. If your orthopedic surgeon refers you to this office, do yourself a favor and ask for another recommendation, especially if you are elderly. Dr. Li's team expects you to be the expert regarding the pain relief you need administered. They do not have the wherewithal to have any sort of authority on how to help you even with specific doctor referrals and medical records handed directly to them. The onus is entirely on you, so go elsewhere to receive competent care, or at the very least, have an advocate help you to jump through their endless hoops. Expect incompetence from this office.

Dr. Li, has an intriguing strategy for patient care. I call it the assembly line approach. I waited an hour to see him on my first visit, while filling out seemingly endless sheets of paper with repetitive questions, which was presumably intended to make the long wait appear productive. To my surprise, I discovered that the gentleman waiting, next to me was scheduled 15 minutes after me. No problem for Dr. Li; he managed to finish everything he needed to know in 15 minutes, without even glancing at the paperwork I completed. He was delayed by5 minutes when I had the temerity to ask him to review my MRI, something he obviously did not consider necessary. His conclusion was to meet him at a different location where he could perform his magic with injections to neutralize the back pain I consulted him for. At the injection appointment, after waiting an hour in a cold room on a gurney, the good doctor showed up and put four needles in my back, after asking me again where my pain was. That required a total of five minutes and cost my insurance $8,000. I was advised to schedule an appointment two weeks later to judge the effectiveness of the procedure. At my follow-up appointment, I was only able to see Dr. Li's assistant for 10 minutes. Since the injections had provided no pain relief, I considered requesting pain medication a good idea, a thought that never entered Dr. Li's busy mind or that of his assistant. I was given a prescription for Gabapentin 300 mg, one pill per day. After advising the assistant of the ineffectiveness of the injections, I was told to make myself available for another injection. The second injection was as ineffective as the first. Two weeks later, seeing Dr. Li's assistant again and informing her that the pain medication she prescribed was as effective as one aspirin--and the injections not at all--she prescribed Meloxicam 7.5 mg and recommended scheduling yet another appointment. By that time, I had had enough of Dr. Li, and his employee. I'm 77years old and, not surprisingly, have seen many doctors during that time. Dr. Li is in a league of his own as someone who is clearly interested only in maximizing income without the slightest care for the patient. Gennaro de Caro

Front office staff are unprofessional. It takes a grenade to engage them. Although when you’re getting treatment at the facility they slam doors and don’t care if it bothers you

Saw Dr Li in the hospital for my back pain and he admitted me for four days for pain control and was very compassionate. I’ve gave me meds for pin to take at home. I had another episode where I fell again landing flat on my back and broke my finger the ER staff would not admit me and we’re very mean to me acting like I was faking or drug seeking told me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen for my finger and back amd sent me home. I was very unhappy. Dr Li would have admitted me again and treated me right so now I am scheduling an appt to see him as a mew patient consult in his office. Will review again after office visit is done.

Dr. Li completely disregarded my orthopedist’s prescription for diagnostic/therapeutic back injections, saying I didn’t need them. My pain continued to worsen in the following months, and when I returned to my orthopedist he was not happy to hear that Dr. Li had ignored the initial referral. I found Dr. Li to be dismissive and arrogant.

WHY do I have a bill almost a year from the date of "service"? Last transaction is dated 5/22/19. I just got the new bill today; June 2nd, 2020.It is now October and the bill is more ridiculous than ever..They just changed some charges around.. In the latest bill, it says I owe $8, but the total t the bottom still says $80.89. I do have "Dignity" working on it..There are other "shot docs" you can go to; maybe in your network. Don;t just go to this guy if your doctor says to. Be your own doctor. Do research.

I was in constany pain from my neck with rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Lee was able to treat me without the use of addictive drugs. It took time and i had several procedures to ablate the nerves. At the end my pain was gone. I will never have normal range of motion. But I will settle for being pain free for sure. Thank you Dr. Lee!

Dr. Li has no patience or bedside manner. He barely utters a word before he dismisses you. very condescending . Also, apparently it’s the trickle down effect because his medical assistant Amanda, is exactly the same way. She has no idea what it’s like to be in pain or doesn’t seem to really care

I have being waittingfor a call back for 3 weeks just to make an appoitment for an injections and no luck at all. I think I need to go somewere else. I went there and the front desk was extremelly rude.
