I took my family of five to Martin a couple of years ago and we got a lot of shots from him for an overseas trip. He was great! Unfortunately, that was then, and this is now.In the past three weeks, I have called his office and left several voice messages. We simply need more shots for overseas travel in Oct and Nov. No one is answering the phones there, and no one calls back to respond to the messages I have left. What a disappointment. Reading other yelp reviews, this seems to be a common problem with Martin. Martins website makes a feeble attempt to justify his poor quality of service. There is no excuse as far as I am concerned. He is not a good provider if he cannot simply respond to request for appointments from a return customer. I am moving on to Around the World Vaccinations for our business travel needs. They answer the phone every time I call and there seems to be no problem scheduling an appointment. What have you done for me lately Martin? Nothing! Inexcusable from a so called medical professional!

I did a lot of research on where to get my travel vaccinations.  Because the reviews on YELP were relatively high/good on Shulman, I called him.  It sounded like he was a real downto earth caring doctor the voicemail was his voice.  I left THREE messages starting at 8:30 AM on Wednesday.  I called again about 3:30 PM.  I left detailed messages spelling my full name and repeating my number twice on every call.  I still have not received a return call.  I wouldnt go to this guy if you paid me.  Thats a BAD nostart.  A doctors office that never calls you back.  Id blame it on the front office staff but he answers his own phone. Lots of other doctors and doctors offices around.  Dont call this guy.  Everyone else answered there phones and was able to provide me with the information I was looking for.  BOOOOOO on Dr. Martin Schulman.  I have NEVER provided a negative review on YELP before.  I think Shulman deserved my time and attention.

Dr. Schulman is a wonderful doctor.  I went to him for travel medicine for an upcoming Africa trip and I couldnt believe the amount of time he took to answer all of my questions.  I was seen immediately and did not feel rushed at all.  He has excellent bedside manner and was very knowledgeable.  When I explained that my husband also needed vaccinations but had a very demanding work schedule, Dr. Schulman promised to see him anytimewhich he did with only 30 minutes notice!  Incredible.  I have gotten so jaded by monthlong waits for appointments and hourlong waits in the waiting room that I didnt think such service was possible in medicine anymore.  Well done!

I have been seeing Dr. Schulman for several years now, and each day I appreciate him even more and more! He is truly the most genuine, caring and compassionate doctor I have ever meet. He spends time with each of his patients, building a relationship of mutual trust and respect. Despite him being a family medicine physician, his deep knowledge of vast health issues surpasses many specialists. He makes himself available to his patients 24/7. He truly does partner with his patients in achieving and maintaining good health. He will be an advocate for his patients, reaching out to other doctors when needed. You always feel like he is behind you 100% and will go the extra mile to ensure your health and happiness. There are good docs out there (and some REALLY bad ones) but Dr. Schulman is topnotch. No doctor you see after him will ever live up to your expectations again, because he sets an all new standard in healthcare.

Dr. Schulman is a wonderful family doctor.  He makes himself available to patients 24/7 and has a lovely demeanor.  He also does laser pain therapy at reasonable prices.   Thank you on behalf of the Rancho Santa Fe Unit of Rady Childrens Hospital Auxiliary.
