Andrea Bernard's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Bernard for a year and she has helped me so much. She is caring and considerate and I was able to get through a very rough period in my life thanks to her.

When I was experiencing the most depressing time in my life, I could not find the help I needed by going to counselors with master degrees. So I researched the internet and learned that EMDR could help me overcome my childhood abuse and resulting negativity. That is how I found Dr. Bernard. I began seeing her seventeen months ago. Through her compassionate style of therapy and expertise using EMDR, I have been able to overcome significant issues that held me back from enjoying life. The way I think and the way I now behave is transforming my life for the better. I could not have done this without her assistance. Dr. Bernard has a positive and gentle way of approaching my issues. I feel she is my best cheerleader. Her professionalism and understanding of human behavior is outstanding, allowing a client to become their best self. I most appreciate how she is aware of the inner person in her client and makes sure they are settled before leaving her office. My attorney noticed a difference in me when I saw her about a month ago, and my daughter who had been distant from me for quite a while has noticed a change too and our relationship is beginning to blossom. In addition to my weekly therapy, I was able to accept, about four months ago, my need for additional help with my depression by taking a low dose of anti-depressant. Dr. Bernard and my psychiatrist are in contact with each other to monitor my progress. Both of them are now very pleased with my diminished depression and the change in my thinking and behavior. My psychiatrist is so pleased with my progress that he mentioned he has referred some patients to Dr. Bernard. I highly recommend Dr. Bernard as a therapist/counselor. She does her best to schedule appointments at convenient hours, she is on time, has a lot of experience and knowledge, explains concepts and ideas very clearly, is very thorough in explaining paperwork and insurance at the initial visit. She has changed my life for the better because of her advanced techniques of therapy. Dr Andrea Bernard is a highly trained psychologist. I have been seeing her for a few years now and her therapy has helped me tremendously with the many issues I have experienced in my life. She is very knowledgable in her field of expertise and continues to give me the advice to overcome my issues. Her office hours are accommodating and professionally maintained for privacy.
