Andrew Blumenfeld's Online Review Report Card

I've been with the neurology center for several years now, starting with Dr. Blumenfeld. This doctor changed my life. I never knew how debilitating my headaches were until he got them under control. I have never felt more cared about by any other doctor. Since I deal with other health issues, this meant a lot to me. His compassion, competence, and bedside manner set a standard and appreciation for the medical profession that I've never know. My gratitude will never fully be compensated to Dr. Blumenfeld. Fortunately, his expectation of standards has been continued with the Neurology Center as he has personally trained many of its doctors and nurses. Sometimes I drive over an hour for my appt, because it is more than worth it. I consider myself very lucky.

Dr. Blumenfeld is an absolute hero! He is so kind, patient, and really validated the pain I was experiencing, which no other doctor had before. Not only that, but my migraines are doing so much better thanks to him! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Blumenfeld.

Absolutely thee best!!! I recently had Botox with Dr. Blumenfeld and the results are amazing!!! I love love love the results. No pain didn't feel the injections one bit. I have had sooo many compliments. I feel so good about myself. He knows exactly what he is doing and explains everything. Super nice and great bedside manners. I have gotten Botox before elsewhere and it was painful and didn't see results still looked the same. He is wonderful!!!! Go see him now!!!!

Dr. Blumenfeld is a great doctor. I had terrible migraines and thanks to his support and the care of his team, I am much better than I was a few years ago. I am grateful for his care and the excellent team working in the La Jolla office.

I have been Dr. Blumenfeld's patient for over three years. Excellent doctor and his treatment is a miracle. I have a brain injury as a result of a car accident and experienced a horrible headache 24/7 for four years until I was referred to Dr. Blumenfeld. Dr. Blumenfeld himself gets five stars. The reason my rating is only three stars is that it has become impossible to get an appointment with him the last nine months. I have been passed onto another doctor whose treatment does not compare in terms of helping my pain. Even though I was assured I would be on the list for when Dr. Blumenfeld opens his books and would receive a call, this has not been the case. I have not received any such call and when I call, I am told he did have a day in the office scheduled but that it was already fully booked and that I was out of luck. If it continues that I am unable to see Dr. Blumenfeld, I will look for another office/group for my treatments.

The office just clearly has no respect for their patients. I think the doctor has let any prestige he might have acquired over the years go to his head. He is a warped human being incapable of dealing with actual people. The other one star reviews are spot on. Unfortunately, look elsewhere if you care about the quality of your medical care and experience.

Dr Blumenfeld is an excellent doctor. I was having 15 to 20 migraines a month, now I am down 3 to 4 every three months. He is also very caring. I highly recommend him.

Too bad I couldn't give this guy a minus one. My wife has been a patient for more than two years. She has cronic migrains and he has been treating her with botox the entire time. The botox has not worked. Her migrains are worse. The real issue is his lack of patient interaction. He substitutes a Dr's assistant for most of the patient contact even though we have excellent insurance. She has seen him only three or four times during the entire two plus years. She tried asking him a question once during one of his rare visits and he appeared irritated. He said " a good time to ask me a question is while I'm injecting you". Did you ever try talking to someone with a needle in your neck?
