Dr. Aichouri is a kind person and is very knowledgeable.

Professional and helpful.

He reviews things discussed during one's previous session, before asking your current state-of-mind. He empathizes well, and discusses things that you have to unburden yourself, mentally. It seems everyone reacts to their aggressions in different ways. Dr. Aichouri is unflappable in the face of some of the most bizarre revelations.

Dr. Aichouri is the best doctor I have ever seen and a very empathic staff. There are few physicians you can trust with your mental health. He is one. Kate has always gone beyond and above what needs done. A soothing soul.

i do not recommend this doctor. i was invalidated and told that i was wrong about my experience within the first 10 minutes of the appointment.

I was a patient of Dr aichouri for over two years. He never really seemed to listen or care. I begged him to help me find a medication that would work for me but instead he put me on the lowest dose you can possible have of the medicatjon I was already on which wasnt working very well and told me to "keep up healthy habit". He would get me out of there as quickly as possible, always less than 15 mins, mostly looking down at his notes the whole time. Afyer 2 years he didnt even know who I was. That became very apparent when he read me someone else's chart for 5 mins and wouldnt believe me when I told him "thats not me". Final straw...i had to reschedule an appointment. In two years I had never rescheduled and I called the day before but they still charged me a fee of $150. I stopped going to him but I guess they dont miss me because his office never followed up with a phone call to schedule an appointment or ask about my lasped prescription. Bye forever "doctor".

After only speaking to me for 10 minutes, Aichouri invalidated my experience. He told me I was wrong about my very real symptoms because I was a Psychology student and probably just "diagnosing myself out of anxiety" and that "autism is for little boys who can't speak or make eye contact." I left his office in tears. This is a very sexist and dangerous stereotype and not reflective of current research. ...

First of all Dr. A. has over 1000 patients so if he dosen't remember you right off the bat that's why. I have been seeing him for 15 years. He is not a therapist he does medication management. He takes copious notes of every session. And reviews your last session when you come in. Very discipled and through. I have been seeing a shrink for medication management for 40 years and he is the best I have had. Dr. A. is not only an M.D. he has a Phd. in pharmacology. Feel lucky he sees you.

All of my appointments were extremely rushed and far too brief to give adequate care. For example, one of my appointments with him was literally only three minutes long! On average, he spent only five minutes with me. In addition, he was very cold and almost contemptuous. Because of this, I felt very uncomfortable. However, I did still try to speak up about how a medication was making me feel, for example, and all he did was reply defensively, “that’s not logical.” He did not make any attempt to figure out any possible solutions (i.e., do his job). He seemed to only care about not appearing wrong, even though I wasn’t trying to blame him for the medication! The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is the wait time was short (even though the appointments were usually shorter, ha!). I recommend going to someone who cares, instead.
