Dr Chen and his staff are great! I had my LASIK procedure done there 6 months ago, and have amazing vision. They explained the process very well upfront and truly prepared me for that experience. Dr Chen was even better during the procedure when he explained each step to make me feel comfortable with what was happening. I was nervous going into this because it was my eyes, but after everything was said and done the whole experience was amazing. I even have a video that I haven’t watched yet!

My wife and I have been going to North County Laser Eye Associates using both Dr Oliver Chen, who is our Optometrist, & Dr Paul Chen who is our Ophthalmologist. We started going there about 6 years ago after finding out that they are the Best rated in San Diego. We have never been disappointed. Dr Oliver Chen gives us the Best Eye Exams every year, he takes his time to ensure the Prescriptions for Glasses & Lens are right. He is always spot on & our Eye Prescriptions for Glasses are always perfect. Dr Paul Chen has given me Eye Surgery for Droopy Eye Lids after testing showed some of my vision was being blocked by excessive Eye Lid Skin. It is so beneficial to have both your Optometrist & Ophthalmologist together at the same practice, so if the Optometrist sees something that does not look right, he can bring in the Ophthalmologist/Eye Surgeon to check it out. This is the perfect solution for all your Eye Health in one Practice!

After cataract surgery with Dr. Chen, I have the best vision I've ever had since the age of 8 when I started wearing glasses. I am now 72. It is a thrilling miracle. Dr. Chen is a master.

Many years ago I had Dr. Chen replace my eyes lenses with crystal lenses due to cataract problems. I'm now 81 and was super pleased at how well it has worked for me after all these years. My latest eye test revealed near 20/20 vision. On Dr. Chen's recommendation I had one eye fixed for distance, and one for close up. I never had any problem adapting to the variation and would certainly recommend the procedure to anyone with a cataract problem. Well done Dr. Chen.

For over a year I have asked the doctor to deal with my double vision. He keeps finding reasons to put me off from full cataract surgery to eye exams to pressure readings to check peripheral vision etc. etc.

The staff and doctor Chen were all amazing! I was nervous about getting LASIK because, LASER!!!, but the team here made me feel comfortable and took amazing care of me. I finally can see perfectly and tossed my glasses and contacts in the trash! Thank you a million times over, look nowhere else, this is where EYE see your future! See what I did there…. 😉 ❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Chen and their very personal staff especially Michael have been awesome. I highly recommend there clean and professional office conveniently located in the Carlsbad Forum. My long distance eyesight is now 20/20 and fantastic for surfing, hiking, and sporting events!

Dr.Paul H Chen is one of one of the greatest physicians that I have had the privilege of visiting in 68 years. There is nothing about eyes that he does not know. His staff is great especially Michael and his office runs like a fine Swiss timepiece. He is the vision guru of San Diego county. Best to all Dennis Dennis F Penn DMD
