List of Irene Oh's Reviews
I've been patient of Dr Oh for 3yrs+ . I have Parkinson's and she has been very accommodating to my needs. Coming from a medical background ,i'm more understanding when it comes to scheduling, appointments and cancellations, therefore, i'm not as concern with those issues, as much as, patient care and meeting my medical needs, which she and her staff have exceeded my expectations.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Oh and the staff. It appears that things have changed since 2016.
I have an unusual disorder that none of the three neurologists I saw had ever seen before. She had that disorder on her initial differential diagnosis and started working on the tests to diagnose it right away. She is always pleasant and willing to work with me and tried numerous medications before finding the best combination. The staff don't give her my messages in a timely manner and emails get filtered through staff first so I have had problems getting through to her in the past.
While Dr. Oh and her staff seem pleasant enough, I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for authorization for an MRI. Her staff hasn't submitted it and 3 phone calls and a visit to the office in person have yielded no results. They don't return phone calls and they ignore things like "urgent" and "stat." It takes months to get an appointment even when it's a follow-up appointment. I'm not impressed so far and if things don't improve by my next visit, I will be changing doctors. Very disappointing.
My mother and a friend both go to Dr. Oh. My friend had an appointment and it was cancelled- rebooked and as of Friday, cancelled again. Came home and told my mom "I bet they will call you and cancel yours...and sure enough they just did...They have scheduled her for early October. This is a very bad sign...and time to find a more competent Dr. and staff
Dr Oh appears to be a competent Neurologist but her front office reception and phone system is the worst I have experienced. It is nearly impossible to reach a live person to make an appoint. The phone system has an unending series of messages which always results in a request to leave a message. No one ever follows up on the messages left, thus making it extremely difficult to make an appointment.
Doctor Oh prescribed the wrong medicine to my wife for over 3 years. 4 doctors told Oh that she was wrongly treating my wife with Carbidopa / Levodopa (2500Mgm a day) for Parkinson's. Meds should have been for PSP. Two independent Neurologists and 2 GPs. The extensive reports sent to Doctor Oh were ignored. Changed doctors & everything improved immediately. In my opinion Doctor OH cost my wife 4 years of life. The last 4 years filled with hallucinations and misery. DR. Irene Oh is a hack
Experience with Dr. Oh is the worst. Dr. Oh and her team clearly don't care about their patients, and we are looking hard for a new neurologist.
It was surprising to read a review about how Dr. Oh was wonderful at pain management. Dr. Oh told me, in no uncertain terms, that she is NOT a pain management doctor. Plus, she was insensitive to all the pain she caused when doing her exam. Her attitude was patronizing and condescending. Her conclusions were inaccurate and she had poor listening skills.
the wait time at the office is 5 minutes at the most. Dr Oh has done everything to try and reduce my pain with cervical dystonia. She programs my nuerostimulator as well. She listens and tries everything to anything in her power to help with pain managment. I would recommend her to anyone suffering with chronic pain. We are still working on it, but I am confident she will help me. Her assistant is also very helpful. Thank you Dr Oh and Tracy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
